This song was asked to be posted by Razor Leaf, so that's one person who is already pleased by this entry. =p
I like the song myself though; partly because it's a chill song that's relaxing to listen to. It also has a neat guitar sound to it, and partly due to nostalgia too, as this was another song that'd play in an old Fifa game I played the heck out of.

Lyrics:
Lyrics are neat if a bit repeated, but there's a lot of ways you could interpret the lyrics. Some say it's based on a book/movie (which a member of the group said was the inspiration), but others say it's clearly about drugs which seems to happen for half the songs that aren't obvious. Oh well. I'm inclined to go with the former as the movie (The Treasure of the Sierra Madre) was all about finding gold to begin with.
But yes; a very chill song that's nice to relax to on loop. Just not too many times; there's such a thing as being too relaxed.

Spoiler:
The gold road's sure a long road
Winds on through the hills for fifteen days
The pack on my back is aching
The straps seem to cut me like a knife
The gold road's sure a long road
Winds on through the hills for fifteen days
The pack on my back is aching
The straps seem to cut me like a knife
I'm no clown I won't back down
I don't need you to tell me what's going down
Down down down down da down down down
Down down down down da down down down
I'm standing alone
I'm watching you all
I'm seeing you sinking
I'm standing alone
You're weighing the gold
I'm watching you sinking
Fool's gold
These boots were made for walking
The Marquis de Sade don't wear no boots like these
Gold's just around the corner
Breakdown's coming up round the bend
Sometimes you have to try to get along dear
I know the truth and I know what you're thinking
Down down down down da down down down
I'm standing alone
I'm watching you all
I'm seeing you sinking
I'm standing alone
You're weighing the gold
I'm watching you sinking
Fool's gold
Fool's gold
I'm standing alone
I'm watching you all
