This week, Ash finally gets his long awaited matchup with Jasmine, and wins his sixth badge.
The big change for this episode was cutting out Team Rocket--as a general rule of thumb, in the remix the evil team does not typically miss up competitions, unless the original was too funny to rewrite or cut, or it is important that the evil team mess up everything. That, and we have the final battle with Team Rocket coming up soon, so there will be plenty of times to see them coming up.
Once we do defeat them at Mahogany Town, their appearances will be dramatically reduced again, just like how we did when the story started.
I also cut Janina out (since Jasmine has no attendants in the games) and modified Ash's tactics a bit--since Ash would know better than to use an Electric type against a Steelix after his match with Brock, I had Tintri use a different move--a move Pikachu can learn if bred with Pokemon that know it. I do plan to elaborate on how Disarming Voice works as the project progresses.
Next time, the gang reunites with Sakura, to find that her Eevee Satomi is now an Espeon!
