Some people really need to learn when it's appropriate to talk

Really, it's hard to believe that people can be so insensitive. All across the internet, you get jerks commenting on the issue in Japan, going on about how we shouldn't help them because of this or that, complaining about efforts to try and help. Even if something inconveniences them in the slightest, like an anime delay or a notice, they complain like its not a big deal. Seriously, people need to grow up.

I agree. I'm sick of the stupid threads complaining about the notice. It's not hard to scroll down. You were gunna scroll down anyway. Not much difference. What happened there is a tragedy and people can't deal with a damn notice at the top of the forum. Whether you can donate or not, it shouldn't have to be that big of an issue.

Not a big deal? I disagree with you 100000000^88888888%. You don't have ANY idea how this stuff about the earthquake inconveniences me and other people. Having to wait indefinite periods of time to see my favorite shows. This puts a huge damper on my schedule. Sometimes, when they show it, they have this annoying news obstructing my anime too. And that banner. IT'S SO ANNOYING. It takes up a good amount of the screen and that's like an extra roll of the scroll wheel I have to use to get to my favorite part of the forums.

You should be more considerate of other people's feelings.

What bothered me the most were those comments like "Oh it's payback for Pearl Harbour" and I'm here thinking just wow I can't believe I share the same planet as these stupid and insensitive people :///

I know, right? Not to mention people who say that conveniently remember the BOMBS that got dropped on Japan. Geezus.

People who think about that basically have no heart at all. Japan needs our help, and they need it now. If people don't like the banner then guess what? Don't bother going on PC, because I'm pretty sure it's going to stay there for a while until the need stops.

Oh Lord, I was just discussing this with my grandmother (about how people are saying it's revenge for Pearl Harbor). It's an awful thing to say, really. Just...I don't understand how anyone can say that. That was decades ago, and the US and Japan have gotten way past that.

It's really too much, isn't it? I saw yesterday the captain of Sea Shepherd (the anti-whaling ship alleged rammed by a Japanese whaler in the Southern Ocean) wrote a poem claiming that the quake was divine retribution for Japan killing whales. In some ways, that's almost worse than people calling it karma for Pearl Harbour.

For God's sake, people, that was a war. Many countries did things in wars that they aren't proud of, and in any case, war is . . . well, war is war, though it may sound a bit coldhearted of me to say so. It's not like Pearl Harbour was a random, unjustified attack out of spite or anything.

I have to say it's a good thing I don't know anybody in real life who is such a jerk, because I swear that I would punch them if they did. (With exceptions of course. >__>)

It makes me that PO'd that there are people with the gall to go around saying it's karma this or revenge that. I kinda (only barely) understand that there are trolls out there doing it for their sick "lulz", but when you start posting it on Facebook and whatnot, it just makes you look like a...(stopping before I say anything inappropriate...>__>)
