Undercooked Breakfast (Day 9 of 365)

Posted January 9th, 2017 at 9:42 PM by Meganium

Mood: finally relaxed I guess??
Currently watching: Mighty Magiswords

I woke up at around 10 am this morning, and this time, Roy wanted to go ahead and make breakfast for everyone. I felt relaxed and ready to tackle on what would be a busy work day.

While I was cleaning up a bit and getting my work stuff ready, Roy brought coffee and our breakfast plates in our room. I noticed a difference between the two plates. One had a perfect omelette, and the other was burnt and the inside of it was uncooked. Guess who got the latter.

I tried my best not to be a harsh critic towards the undercooked omelette. There was also two slightly wilted strawberries that were past their freshness date and an unwashed piece of celery. I love it when Roy makes breakfast for me, I really do. But this is one rare day where I may have done something wrong to deserve said breakfast, or he may have forgotten to cook the omelette correctly. But looking at it I wasn’t feeling all too great. I felt nauseous, but I didn't want to explicitly say that. I ended up not eating the breakfast plate and decided to skip breakfast overall. Roy was trying to offer me alternatives to at least eat something for breakfast, but I was already nauseous from the undercooked meal. I only ate the celery that was on there even though it was unwashed.

I quickly moved on from the breakfast fiasco and decided to play a little Super Mario 3 on the Wii. Roy joined even though when he was younger he could not get past the first world. By the time I had to get ready for work, we made it to World 3, and he was very proud.

Work was pretty busy today! I was glad to be back and be myself once again. There was a ton of orders to be done (mostly virus removals yuck), and there's also a huge data transfer project that's coming soon this week. I ended up getting a text message from Roy in regards to the breakfast plate earlier this morning. I sighed loudly while I was in a pile of orders. I didn't know how to respond. So I waited three hours later to actually respond. When I decided to take the leftover chinese food from yesterday to work so I could have something in my stomach, he may feel a little left out about it and probably miserable. It was a 10 hour old argument that I thought it was stupid and I was quickly over it. He probably wanted clarity. So I told him to wait until I got back to the house.

I ended up telling him that I was nauseous this morning and he wished I would have told him that. I honestly didn’t want to scare him more but me not even eating the food scared him even more. I was already over the whole thing. He didn't see me mad while we were playing Super Mario 3. Quite honestly I was a little confused of the whole thing.

I think next time he makes breakfast, I'm supervising him. >_>
