Trainer's Matt's Pokemon Go
Adventures: Week 1

"'Trainer Matt's Pokemon GO Adventures' is a new weekly series in the Daily Bloggity that will focus on the app Pokemon GO. Every Saturday, progress will be posted on how many Pokemon I've caught as well as how they've progressed. It will appear every Saturday at 5PM ET in the Daily Bloggity."
Here are the highlights of Week 1 and week of July 11th - 16th:
So I've joined the Pokemon GO craze! I've seen a lot of my friends playing this game so I thought that I would join the fun and document my progress along the way. I don't exactly know how long this series will go for, but for the time being it's going to be a weekly segment every Saturday. Hopefully people will play along with me as well and document their progress in this series' entries! Best of luck finding Pokemon!
So when I was walking to class earlier in the week, I found this strong Pokemon lying around my campus. I was honestly really surprised to find this. Obviously, I've been able to catch a lot of Pidgey's as I go - as well as the occasional Pidgeotto - but I had never seen a last evolution Pokemon in the wild. It was a pretty cool feeling to say the least. I ended up naming him "Pharah" after Overwatch's hero. I thought it was pretty feeling as the Pokemon is reminiscent of her.
For the most part, I've only got the first evolution forms of many of these Pokemon. Unfortunately, I don't want to use up all of my data as I drive/walk around, so I think it's going to take a few weeks before I start evolving the Pokemon. Hopefully they will add more Pokemon as well, as I've felt that I've been catching the same Pokemon over and over again. Still, I find that this was a pretty good start of my adventure, and who knows what the future has in store!

Main Catch of the Week
