I took at least 400 pictures for this con.

FRIDAY:

Spoiler:

The English voice actor and the Japanese voice actress of Edward Elric of Fullmetal Alchemist did a panel together. It was very amusing to see Edward and Edward together in the same building!

also i ship edward x edward

Spoiler:

For the first time, the convention brought in a lot more than just Japanese Music and pop culture. They were able to bring Japanese theatrical arts to the convention by bringing the Sailor Moon Musical cast directly from Japan! This was one of the most anticipated events of the con, and I was caught in awe by their amazing performance!

Spoiler:

Obligatory picture of a green fox with a waffle burger and fries.

Spoiler:

Since my boyfriend and I couldn't go to the Formal Ball (we didn't have the right *clothing* for it) we instead went to the Informal Ball, which is more relaxed and less strict.

Spoiler:

Christine Cabanos and Cristina Vee held their own Q&A session later on after the Informal Ball. Christine is the voice actress of many characters (more notabely Sailor Saturn in the dub), and Cristina Vee voiced Sailor Mars, and surprisingly...Shantae from Shantae and the Pirates Curse!

SATURDAY:

Spoiler:

The Car Show was spectacular. A lot of the cars were inspired by current and past anime TV shows.

Spoiler:

Saturday was a HUGE Overwatch day. A meetup was placed, and thousands of cosplayers showed up to the meetup. The majority of them were amazing, especially the Reinhardt! There were also so many D.Va cosplayers. The biggest, most anticipated event was the Q&A panel for Anjali Bhitmani (Voice actress for Symmetra) and Carolina Ravassa (Voice actress for Sombra). The room was literally FULL, and Roy and I got so lucky to get inside to grab the last seats remaining. One autograph session was not enough, as by popular demand they had to add another one for Sunday.

Spoiler:

After the Overwatch meetup and Q&A, we came across with Leon Chiro, an international cosplayer hailing from Italy. We didn't know it was him until saw him at his booth cosplaying as Roy Mustang from Fullmetal Alchemist.

Spoiler:

We decided to get in line for Cristina Vee's autograph session (she was sharing a session with Christine Cabanos, voice of Sailor Saturn, and Brittney Karbowski, voice of Yuri from Angel Beats). There was a lot of moving around, plus they were kind enough to extend the autograph session to another hour. Roy was sweating balls, and tried to calm himself down, as he was meeting the voice actress of Shantae. We got a selfie from her, and he walked out of the room extremely happy.

SUNDAY:

Spoiler:

Last day of the convention, and we arrived pretty early because I wanted to get in line for the second autograph session of the two Overwatch voice actresses. Once 10 am hit (the time that the con opened), the line was already forming. Thankfully I got a good spot, but I was not expecting a 2.5 hour wait.

Spoiler:

Spoiler:

I had to leave my boyfriend at the Vendors hall while I was holding a spot for the autograph session. 2.5 hours was pretty long. He ended up surprising me with a huge merch haul that included a rare Japanese Splatoon figure that is no longer sold!

Spoiler:

Merch haul! Including the autographs!
