Maybe not so depth. But step inside the lab of Pala for a minute, and listen to their stupid analysis on personality.
I noticed a random shift in my mood starting at 1:30, so here I go, I suppose. Not like anyone will understand what I'm saying.
Everyone is encouraged to be themselves, and you shouldn't try and copy other people. I am aware that not everyone can be original, and I'm aware that not everyone is creative as I am. Honestly, I'm just throwing that out here because everyone is supposedly individual. I say supposedly because I can detect personalities. I am pretty good at being able to remember people by their exact personality. This is a talent of mine, in some ways, but in other ways, I guess no one has my eyes. Not everyone can see people as personalities, rather than appearances.
That's just something that's...me. People are their personalities, they aren't their appearance or the clothes they wear, they are their personality. That alone. So, if we're going by this, I'm going to give an ugly and beautiful example, since I see people as their personalities, and not their appearance. If you have a nice personality, and are generally a good person, you are beautiful, but if you're a terrible person, then I see you to be an ugly person. I won't make any specifications here, but if you're going to be an ass to everyone, yeah, ugly personality, I'm sorry.
While going into it, do I have a personality? I've thought about it, I have one, but it's too complicated for people to be able to pin me because I have...more than one. If that makes any sense. It's not really anyone's business, but we all have sides to our personalities. If you caught on to "I have more than one" ask about it, because I'm trying to be vague about it on purpose so no one digs deeper.
I'd say we're all characters, but that's a rather incomplete example here. Characters don't usually seem to have realistic personalities to begin with, and if I'm being honest, are usually based off of stereotypes, or maybe I've just watched too many harem anime in the past two years, where all the personalities are the damn same (it's a shame really, give me flavor, jesus christ, money was made out of you.) I'd go into character archetypes, but it's three in the morning, and I don't have time for teatime right now.
