I'm going to be the first (probably) to say this, and proud of it: I lost to Bugsy.

I lost back in Gold, I did it in Heart Gold. I guess times never do change. I walked all over his trainers with Murkrow and was ready to demolish Bugsy. Assuming this would be a cake walk, the rest of my team was the usual T-spikes and sit there crew, which sucks against him, haha.

He starts off with Scyther and gets to work quickly by knocking out Murkrow with extreme ease, Metapod and Kakuna barely serve as place holders while U-turn ripped through my team after I got Metapod and Kakuna. Eventually, it was Bayleef against Scyther, and I got rocked. I put up a good fight (got to red), but the berry was too much to overcome. He gave me a classic thrashing, which was deserved considering my team's built to slowly wear down teams. Also, the types of Scyther and Kakuna would've helped. (forgot, haha)
Battle #2
Pissed off and at a new low thanks to Dark Azelf's violent thrashing (;_;), I decided to give it another go specifically focused on Scyther. Knowing Scyther would lead this time, I put a pathetic Mareep at the lead. (lv. 6) Also assuming he'd attack and, hopefully, attract static. As planned, it works like a charm, and my paralyze bait worked. Knocked out, but Scyther got that lovely status. Murkrow comes in to cause some damage, but I switch over to Magnemite who survives in the red by U-turn. (another pokemon designed as u-turn fodder)

Against Metapod, I go to work with Onix. Set up six hardens and eventually (thanks to bugsy's super potions), knock out Metapod. Scyther like an evil brother from the past enters the battle again. From beating Metapod, I gained a level and learned Rock Throw. (lv. 9 Onix now, mind you) so who can guess what I used. :D

I rock throw Scyther as it leers (taking me to +5), I then knock out Scyther, feeling great again.

Onix, who I got in that trade at violet, is nicknamed Rocky. Gained a ton of levels from beating Scyther/Bugsy, too. So it's only appropriate...

(Kakuna was knocked out by Rocky right after Scyther)

GOOD NIGHT.

I almost lost. :o He happened to knock out my Flaaffy and Togepi so all I had left was Bayleef. With Flaaffy I had paralyzed Scyther so I was faster and so with Bayleef I poisoned him, attacked and won. :D

a few words: only noobs use it
another few: you have to use a fire-type to win HG/SS, how lame.

Even though I already played through my imported SS, I somehow forgot Bugsy started off with his strongest in HG >.>

My Quilava got KOed immediately, and that's when my Zubat came in and kicked butt o3o

Only lost to Bugsy in Gold, though.
