Day 7 - Favorite Anime couple
Syaoran Li x Sakura Kinomoto [Cardcaptor Sakura]
So...did anyone not see this coming? Ya, this one I've been supporting the longest, so it goes here. This one was actually really nicely developed, especially in the third season, and especially for a Mahou Shoujo series. Though teeechnically, they're 10 with ambiguity of how old they are by the end of the series, it was really nice seeing this one develop. Starting as rivals with crushes on the same guy, moving on to partners, even to emotional support, and finally to lovers. Just really adorable to watch and entirely made possible with Tomoyo's support. Sucks that the dub tried to get rid of all the romance, though then again, the dub kinda screwed up with a lot of things.
As a fun fact, a nice chunk of my early themes were dedicated to S+S

Next to Sakura x Tomoyo, this coupling is so awesome it's amazing, and to top it off, the series actually develops it. I'd have liked to see that with Tomoyo but I think the anime turned out just as well without it, so I wouldn't change that about it even if I could. XDPosted January 9th, 2011 at 4:08 PM by Melody
