Oh my gosh, today is insane. I went out with my parents to go out for lunch and just simply to go shopping around. Well, of course it was raining, but I didn't expect it to get this bad.

The streets, nearly all of them were completely flooded. There were tons of traffic, and some vehicles, even SUVs, were stuck in the water.
It wasn't even harsh rain like that in a Hurricane, but just continuous.

The street, people's yards, sidewalks, and even the parking lots were covered in a large sea of water. Waves were huge, which were caused by the motion of the vehicles on the road. One man went out to stand in the large flood, and it reached his knees.

Things got so bad, that stores had to simply close down for the day. I was shocked, and I can only imagine what will happen when Hurricane Season arrives here in Florida.

BeachBoy, if you're reading this, then how's it going on your side of the state? xD

Dude, it's horrible on my end. Holly Hill is a major flood zone, everywhere 80% of roads are flooded, thousands have lost power, and I have an OCEAN in my back yard. Seriously.

I know what you mean, there is a ravine not too far from my house. On a ususal day it is like only 2 - 3 feet deep. After today, it went from usual depth to about 6 feet high. O_o

All the neighborhoods by me were flooded and everything. We even had a pond in our yard which had waves. I wouldn't be suprised if I saw fishes in it. xD Just kidding.

Lol. I see them more and more in weather like this. Though, the rain has seemed to calm down for now. The flooding was crazy to see, though I thought it was so cool; my mom thought differently.

Dude, my backyard is a swamp. My dog has no grass to pee on.

Seriously, this is outrageous. I got soaked at school (one of my classes are outside <_<). This boy had the nerve to cruise through the puddles.. I swear, the waves were about 8 feet high.

There goes my Memorial weekend plans. Florida is sooo bipolar. Like a pregnant woman. \o/

Hey TB, I've got half of my classes outside. 4 transfers in and out, I was soaked each and every day. DX

That stinks to be outside, get soaked, and have to go through the day like that. Florida is a weird state, one minute it rains, the next it is hot and shining with sun. Though, you've got to love it...

I did see little worms in the pond though. x_X

I'm safe in my house at the moment, and the weather is clearing up.

Not sure about Melbourne, FL as it is a few hours away from me. Though, I'm pretty sure they are out of harm's way.

Anyone know how Melbourne, FL is holding up?
iirc, the news said they were hit hard too.

Actually, who wasn't hit hard in central Florida? >_>

Anyway, sun's out. Waters are starting to recede, but damn, check out all the damage.

Hmm, I guess I was wrong on that note about Melbourne, though I'm sure no one was hurt or anything <Just Stuck>

I'm about to be leaving to see what damage was caused around my neighborhood pretty soon. I won't be surprised to a lot of mess, but definitely clearer traffic.

I'm pretty sure Melbourne is doing fine now though. xD

Florida schools, ugh, I am homeschooled.

In my public school, they at least let us stay inside when raining. My only basic outdoors class was PE, which let us in when raining.
