Title is explanatory.

Pokéathlon- OK, I KNOW there's a one letter difference, but really, why couldn't they just keep it as Pokéthlon? It sounds so much better, anyways.
And while we're at it, I really don't like the new medals. Sure, they're somewhat cute, but I preferred the originals more. Simple and sweet <3

Blue- GREEN GREEN GREEN GREEN GREEN. If they had time to change the Game Corners, why couldn't they at least change Green's floor pattern in Pallet from green to blue? Because Green is obviously the boy, while Blue is the girl.

Sinjoh Ruins- Ewwwww the name is blah; Shinto sounds even cooler, you know? I can kinda see why they'd change it, though, 'cause not only is it pronounced "Sin-oh" instead of "Shin-oh", but I think Shinto is some sort of religion in Japan? Idk, I'm not really knowledgeable about that sort of thing.

Spiky Eared Pichu- No. Just...no. Notch Eared [> X ∞] Spiky Eared.

Ethan- How could I almost forget this one? Kotone to Lyra isn't bad whatsoever (Lyra is kind of pretty sounding), but Hibiki to ETHAN? Poor, poor male protagonist. /no offense to anyone named Ethan irl

Red's Team- OK, not a TERM, but more or less a team swap thing. Red, lose one of the Water types and bring back your Espeon.

On another note, I do like "Bell Tower" over "Tin Tower" ^_^ It sounds really lovely, and it especially fits in nicely in HG (with the whole Clear Bell + Rainbow Wing to summon level 45!Ho-oh thing).

And I can't think of any other terms I hate, though who knows? XD

I read that the change happened because of a terrible event in human history. :[ Remember the Twin Towers...

I'm battling Red now.

His team would be pathetic with Espeon in it. Seriously? It would make him a whole lot easier.

@Swift: To me, "Pokéthlon" even sounds better. I like it with one less syllable.

@LeSabre: ... I never even thought of that XD Wow.

@Derk: I'm also thinking in a sort of PokeSpecial way here /since they based Red's team off of his GSC team (minus the other two starters), and I don't want Vee to be replaced by a Lapras ;_; Also, even though Espeon has low defenses and HP, give it something to raise its Speed/Sp. Atk/etc. and it'd probably kick butt. /this coming from the fact that my strongest Pokemon right now is Espeon

I find it really funny that even though they changed Green's name to Blue, Daisy is still wearing Green. XD THAT IS TOTALLY TELLING US THAT GREEN SHOULD BE GREEN NOT BLUE. </brick'd>

And yeah. I agree with pretty much everything you said here. c: Though I don't know what the old metals in the Pokethlon were, so I can say much to that.
BUT YOU ARE THE FIRST WHO HAS ALL THE METALS IN MY GAME. :D

Blue over Green made sense back when we had R/B, but since the remake was LeafGREEN, yeah, he should be Green now.

And...

Ethan: So Lyra, need any more help on Pokemon? Or, if you act now, I can sell you this beautiful bedroom set for only $799, AND we'll deliver and remove your old bed for free!

How do you pronounce it? Simply 'Poké-thlon'? Cause, to me, that just sounds weird. 'Poké-ath-lon' sounds perfect. Like 'tri-ath-lon'.

@Tara: I didn't notice that XD I just went upstairs to his room and saw, like how Red's room has some red on the carpeting, there was green on the carpeting. Also, the medals simply had crowns with the english abbreviations for each of the categories originally.

@LeSabre: Aye. I'm still interested in how they'll explain it if they ever release the LG/FR arc of PokeSpecial. Watch them horribly cut out our lovely female's Blastoise and replace it with Venasaur while the rival gets the Blastoise so it makes sense.

@Swift: I do pronounce it like that, actually. And yeah, I see where they're getting at and all, but still. /ocd

XDDD It was the first thing I noticed about Daisy when I went to go visit her for the first time. Never bothered to go upstairs in either room. I should do that. :B
And ooo~ That does sound nicer than the current ones. XD

So that's how Pokeathlon is supposed to be pronounced? I've been pronouncing it wrong. XD Sticking to the Japanese way now ktnksbye. :B
