That Christmas Feeling
Posted December 24th, 2010 at 1:38 AM by moments.
The excitement and utter explosions of happies that are associated with going to sleep to wake up to presents and to see all your family and have a fabulous day used to be with me.
Now that I'm older, I must admit I don't feel quite the same. That excitement, that Christmas spirit is lacking; it just doesn't feel like it is Christmas...
I am truly excited to seeing all the family and playing with the younger cousins and feasting all day, but I honestly don't feel that excited, despite knowing that I am.
How I wish I was young again.

I don't feel the excitement either, partly because my early Christmases were filling will my family coming together and now because a divorce half of them aren't there and the other half can only spend a short time before they go to the other parent's house. I miss my cousins. :(
The other one would have to be because how all media and stores are in the 'christmas spirit' for 2 full months.Posted December 24th, 2010 at 10:16 AM by Nina -
