PCmobile

So about a month ago I posted a blog with a picture that showed the login screen for a mobile style that I was working on. Really, nothing much has changed on that except for some color changes. But I decided to stop working on it, because of the thought that I had that nobody would really use it. I announced in my thread that I wasn't going to work on it anymore because of reasons, and that's the reason.
Even though it's something that's in demand around here, there's no guarantee that people will use any style any style developer creates, because of the overwhelming choices that you have as a member which style you want to browse. And honestly, I really don't like that. I work very hard on my styles and I do it not only because I enjoy it, but I really like creating styles for PC and being a part of your user experience that the style creates.
Nothing makes me happier while I'm on here than knowing someone uses my style, and I think any of the other style developers around here can attest to that satisfaction. We don't want our work ignored. And I don't want to say especially me since I'm not sure how the other developers think, but since I left the staff, the only time I ever feel appreciated anymore around here is when I release a style.
That's what I fear will happen if I create a style for mobile. I'm afraid that I will spend all of these hours on it. Designing it, tweaking it, making it perfect. Then going into the code, and coding the front end code from scratch only to have people choosing to browse the forums on their mobile device with a different style than the one that I spent so much time on. I really don't like that thought.
I'm a perfectionist with my designs, so before I release something, it has to be absolutely stunning in my own eyes. When it gets to that point, I can't wait to show everybody what I made. I'm also pretty proud, especially of my designs that I create on my own without any per hire scenarios. I pretty much disregard 90% of the critique people have as them not knowing any better because they have different tastes than me and, like I said, I'm pretty proud of them.
Still, I decided today that I was going to work on it again when I went on PC on my phone and was like "Okay. Enough's enough of this terrible experience." And then I found some inspiration while I was driving that I just wanted to try out, so I rushed home and worked on it. It's not much of an update, but its something. And it makes me excited to continue working on it, despite my doubts.
Here's what I worked on when I came home. I'm including the login screen as well for people who didn't see, and because I made some changes (added, changed text; changed colors). I also have a great design that I'm going to start working on after I flesh it out on paper for the user profile! But for now, here's what I have:

Its just like that for now. It's not going to be like that when I'm done. This just simplifies it in my mind for me.

I'm going to still design it, because the designing part is really enjoyable figuring out where things should go, and it's just something I enjoy. But I'm not going to go any further unless I know people are going to use it. If people aren't going to use it, then it just feels like I wasted countless hours of my time making something that nobody wants to use, or uses reluctantly if they're forced to use it.
