They have finally been released, and you can find them here. I'm glad they're out, especially since I contributed to them this time around :3

The biggest "shocker" to me was Blissey at number 14 (if you include the Rotom formes, which I will do for this whole entry). How the mighty have fallen. Blissey is probably the best defensive Pokémon in the game, and it's not even close to the top ten. As a user of Blissey, my guess is that Blissey being vulnerable to Trick as well as many of the top special attackers in OU has hurt its usability. Also, with all of the Team Jabba posers running around, Blissey carries Stealth Rock more now. Blissey is a good Stealth Rocker, but without a special attack or a status attack, I've found it to be very limited. Anything with recovery is going to beat it no matter what, including any kind of CM Latias, which is the highest ranked special attacker (unless Heatran counts, but that usually isn't sweeping). Even being limited, Blissey is still really effective, so I wonder why it's not being used like it used to be. At least Bold isn't too far behind Calm. Calm Blissey is such a joke, and the extra SDef never comes in handy.

Wow, CB Scizor has more than doubled offensive SD Scizor in usage. What a difference a year makes, eh? It's one of the best CBers in the game, so no surprise there. SD Scizor is pretty underrated though, but the Rotom formes rising in usage probably isn't helping much.

Dragon Dance and Draco Meteor are nearly equal in usage on Salamence. Don't you just love guessing games lol? I don't >=/ On the other hand, choice Scarf is on 2 out of 3 Flygon, so I guess 2 out of 3 Flygon users like playing with only 5 and a half Pokémon. Jeez, why even use uselessness like that, especially when the CBer is so good? Choice Scarf Latias is also at 22%, which isn't bad. I don't know why people use this Pursuit bait nonsense. It least it has Trick though. I'm actually kind of shocked that Draco Meteor is on less than half of them...it's one of the best moves in the game, and Latias is arguably the best user of it in OU. Outside of the CM sets, this should be on basically every Latias.

Also, I'm shocked that Donphan fell all the way to 65. Yeah, it sucks, but it has been hanging on in the 45-50 range for over a year, and it has suddenly began a free fall. Guess people gave up trying to keep it OU or something lol. Heracross and Alakazam continue to fall. I would bet on seeing Alakazam in the UU circuit, and possibly Heracross, though it still has to fall a few slots, which is a lot considering it's better than the Pokémon below it. And there is Articuno at 179. lolololololololol

Glad to see Swampert leads falling. They aren't any good =/ Aerodactyl also should fall some, since it's worse than other leads in every way except Speed...which doesn't even come in handy unless it's against another Aerodactyl (and you still have a 50% chance of losing) or an Azelf. Fail.

Oh, Jirachi at number 11 is great. Jirachi is a very good Pokémon, glad to see it getting usage. Superachi, Scarf, SubCM, Wish support...it can do a lot, and with great typing and stats...and that stupid ability. Go die Jirachi.

Okey dokey, that's what I think. Man, Scizor is like the plague.

Did you see Rhyperior? Seeing that in UU would be pretty interesting.

Roserade is going to be in OU some time it seems.

You know, I would actually consider playing UU with Roserade gone, but it's just so hard to adjust to.

Porygon2 is at 51 LOLOLOLOLOLOL

Rhyperior is basically Rhydon only it can take hits better and do slightly more damage. I doubt it would break UU, but I don't know much about the tier and theorymoning what will happen is always bad (see: Dugtrio) so I'll just shut up now. Rhyperior is pretty mediocre in OU regardless of what Colonel M says, so it should hopefully stay low in usage. Rock Polish is tough though.

It would take a toll on stall teams in UU. It's probably one of the best Spikers in the tier, and is a nice status absorber thanks to Natural Cure.

Lol, yeah. X3

Tangrowth and Torterra handle it nicely, but Megahorn hurts. :\ Choice Band is okay to work around, but Rock Polish is tough like you said.

Blissey is probably dropping because people don't really want her role anymore in their teams. The metagame has become really offensively-orientated and some Pokemon now use her as setup fodder. She hasn't gotten any worse at doing what she does but eh people aren't finding use for her.

CBFlygon >>> Scarf yeah, it's great in the late-game and everything is weakened and it's good early-game for scouting.

I'm glad Latias is continuing to rise, it's a fantastic Pokemon that can fit in most teams easily and is one of the best sweepers in OU =)

OMG, Rotoms top 5 ? I kinda expected this though, they are everywhere with (psuedo) stall starting to creep back in from what ive seen when i have been laddering, amazing spin blockers.

Also poor blissey rofl ! and LOL at Rhyperior and AlakaSkuntankbait. :x

Rhyperior is meh, Milotic etc is everywhere so eh, idk.

13 | Omastar | 1606 | 1.73 |

From 52th to 13th on the lead spot, jeez. Ive always liked this guy in uu, but O__O seems as thought people like stacking spikes, he is like an UU forry -rapid spin lol

Roserade is a pain, ive seen it everywhere (thanks to jabba's team), just because of the sleep, which brings my up to my next rant. Toxic Spikes. Why are people even bothering with these, they are useless, easily absorbed, more than half the OU metagame is immune to them. So garbage, even in UU. The only metagame they are actually good in is ubers, because they actually HIT things.

This is pretty cool alot of strange stuff happening.

On a side note im sick of Pursuiting Latias. :/ lol

Blissey isn't really set-up fodder though. The threat of Thunder Wave is enough to really scare the likes of Infernape and Lucario away, or it will cripple them if they switch in. A well-played Blissey is actually pretty hard to set up on. A sweeper can only switch into one Seismic Toss, and after that its health will be in easy KO range for priority or a Choice Scarfer.

And I also disagree about its role not being needed as much. Nothing comes even close to being able to do Blissey's job as well as she does. Tyranitar, Snorlax, and Latias don't really come close. She's useful on balanced, semi-stall, stall, and even bulky offense teams if you really need an anchor and/or Stealth Rocker. Fast offense is rare these days since Bullet Punch Scizor and a ton of Scarfers are absolutely everywhere, so Blissey can fit on most teams. I don't see team style as an excuse not to use her to be honest.

And hey, D_A has seen the light, Toxic Spikes do in fact suck (and they have for a long time). The only useful Pokémon they hit are Tyranitar, Infernape, Bliseey, and...Electivire lol? They're easy to Spin away or absorb on stall teams, and most offense teams are Toxic Spikes-proofed anyway. Why even use such a horrible move?

And Latias isn't really Pursuit bait if you're using it right/aren't going up against elf stall 43.6 with ScarfTar :3
