This week, Ash faces off in the quarterfinals against Harrison!
In addition to tweaking Ash's team and working in Mega Evolution, I also included a quick cutaway as to what Misty was doing in the Pokethlon during Harrison's time out. This made it easier for me to work in Ethan and Lyra, who replace Misty in the stands cutaways. Brock does leave Ash's match early to make it to the Grand Lore Stage finals on time.
I was going to make the Pokethlon cutaway a little longer, but the episode was running long as it was, so I kept it short.
Since next week is the story's grand finale, I just want to thank everyone that has left me feedback, nominated the story for awards, and just stuck with me as I wrote it. I hope you'll enjoy Shine Diamond as much as you did this remixed adventure.
Next time, we bid Johto farewell and leapfrog over to Shinou!
