Music Mince

Well I can hardly call this a weekly series anymore, but I think a Music Mince is long overdue. If you don’t know (or remember) what this series is about, I introduce you to ten songs that I’ve been particularly enjoying the past week in the hopes that you’ll enjoy them as much as I do. Time to dig in!

Number One
Song: Leave Your Lover
Artist: Echoes

Info: This is a simple song, with simple but well

Weekly Music Mince

It's the end of the week again which means it's time for another Music Mince, this time flavoured with some actual thought about each song according to the original format I used.

I've been listening to a lot of music this past week so it was really hard to narrow things down to ten choices, but here they are. Enjoy!

Number One
Song: Not Strong Enough
Artist: Apocalyptica ft. Brent Smith

Weekly Music Mince

There's this unfortunate trend of me getting these up a bit late. I actually could have posted this yesterday to be honest, but by the time I got home after the busy day I had I just wanted to watch comedy and go to sleep.

Anyway, I have another eclectic Mince for you this week with music from genres including folk, metal and jazz/blues. Bon Appétit!

Number One
Song: Shape of Love
Artist: Passenger ft. Boy and

Weekly Music Mince

Okay... so technically it's Monday but that's besides the point. Another week has ended, and although it's a little late, I'm still going to do the Weekly Music Mince - because what you really need is another ten songs from me after my last post.

This past week my musical taste seems to have been leaning more towards rock music, although there are a few odd ones out. Enjoy!

Number One
Song: Your Time Will Come Again

Current Favorite Song: A Change of Seasons [Dream Theater]

I've been listening to this song all day long for quite a while now and I'm convinced it is perhaps one of my favorite songs ever.

It's called A Change of Seasons by the progressive metal band Dream Theater. Don't let the length of the song or the "metal" tag dissuade you; it's a brilliantly crafted piece of musicianship and among the best songs the band has ever written.

The song is a 23-minute long epic split into seven parts, three of which are insturmentals:...
