Continuing from my notes of the WWDC 2009 keynote …


  • 2.0 SDK has over 1,000,000 downloads
  • more than 50,000 apps available in the app store
  • over 1 billion apps downloaded as of April 23rd
  • over 40,000,000 iPhones and iPod touches sold
  • “The phone that has changed phones forever” Time Magazine
  • 65% of all mobile browsing is done on an iPhone/iPod Touch
  • when compared to Android’s almost 5,000 apps, Nokia’s almost 2,000 apps, blackberry’s 1,030 apps and Palm’s measly

Well the Keynote started with a rather hilarious Apple commercial Parody of many takes of ‘PC’ welcomeing everyone telling everyone to stop having a great conference and having good ideas.

    • A totally sold out Show
    • Steady growth from 2002 to 2007 of Mac OS X 10.0 - 10.5
    • Explosive growth since 2007, Growth increased 3-fold since the introduction of iPhone and iPod Touch

Well as the 2009 World Wide Developers Convention wraps up it's preparations I guess I can finally finish my preparations to the event myself. As you might have gleaned from the new look of my blog, I am really looking forward to this years event due to the rumors of Snow Leopard and the new iPhone models and 3.0 software update. this entry is going to be purely a list of what I really want to see during the con. So... the one year my "anniversary" was actually on a weekend--implying I could be at PC all day--and I pretty much missed it. ;_;

Last month I bought an upgrade to Windows and went ahead and upgraded to Vista Ultimate. I was still high on my painkillers at the time, so I attributed the fact that the product key wasn't working to the idea that I was just entering it wrong every single time. XD So I opted to activate Windows later and went on my way.

Now this I agree with. Enhanced menu with what seems to be an app framework, where you can download stuff, a music playing app, and a camera with photo editing…

DSiWare, so we can download small games onto our game.

An SD card slot for all the photos we take. And probably storing DSiWare too.

The now-old DS and DS Lite has obviously been deprecated. Time to upgrade
