To Camp or Not to Camp

That is the question...
If you;ve followed my blog you might remember a post where I went through some my first reactions to Windows 7 when I tried out the Pre-Beta build number 6801. well the Public beta version, Build 7000, has just been released and I've legally obtained a 64-bit version and valid Key. My only question now is whether I should Install it in a virtual Machine like I have for the past releases and what I did for my XP version, or should I go the full monty and partition 20Gb...

Macworld 2009 Keynote [Spoiler Warning!]

Ok so I have ben able to watch the key note almost live, so I figure I'll jot down some of the Cool things that are being announced.

first is the iLife programs are being updated to become iLife '09.
What's new? here:
iPhoto has been updated with new browsing techniques.
  • Last year they introduced Browsing by Events, This year they've added a new way to categorize. By Faces. that's right, iPhoto now has some rudimentary facial recognition in there so that now it will identify

Yes that's right, Apple has released a new update this afternoon.

Apple may give Mac users a Spring Surprise!

It appears that Apple may be moving their anticipated release date of Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) up a little bit. When Apple first previewed Snow Leopard at WWDC 2008 (June) they old everyone to expect it to be available "In about a Year". Well in a speech made by Jordan Hubbard, Apple's Director of Engineering of Unix Technologies, at LISA '08 (or Large Installation System Administration Conference) it appears that Apple has now slated it for release in Q1 of '09 thus making it conceivable...

Ok so most of you know I'm an avid Mac user so you're probably asking "what is this? why is he blogging about Microsoft?". the simple answer is that I've use Windows much more in my life than I have mac and I was intrigued by this new iteration that is supposedly 'better than Vista'.
So without further Ado I present
