March 17th, 2018 6:26 PMUltra SunIt's amazing you can still get the grammar correctly :D
Sounds interesting. :o Maybe I should check out D&D
Speaking of time problems, I haven't even done my homework and I'm supposed to hand in today. -insert clown emoji- -
March 17th, 2018 3:11 AMLycanthropyHaha yep, that's one of the few things I remember. The other being the key phrase "Je ne comprends pas. Vous pouvez parler anglais s'il vous plait?" (Probably spelled that wrong, but whatever. :p )
Except that's it's not a video game. You keep track of all your attacks, skills, stats and HP on a sheet of paper. To check whether you hit, succeed a skill challenge or the amount of damage you deal you roll with physical dice. It's not exactly new either, the first edition stems from 1974. :p
Too bad you don't have time to use your Switch though. Maybe you have more time during Summer? -
March 15th, 2018 6:19 AMUltra Sunpomme de terre :p
And then the slangs :'D
Yes because I don't pay much attention to new games. While it's true that I have a Switch ain't got the time to play the games...
I honestly forgot. :o I think the first set of question marks were laughters and the second sets were shocked emojis? -
March 15th, 2018 2:57 AMLycanthropyTrue, French is the only language I know where you can just say random words to make it sound romantic. xD The main problem is, French people talk way too fast, good luck trying to make out words of it.
Wow, really? Well, it's a pen-and-paper RPG. You gather around a table and pretend to be a character in a fantasy setting, battle monsters on a paper grid and talk to "NPC's" played by the game master. You decide what you do, and you roll all kinds of uncommon dice (twenty-sided and such) to determine the outcome.
Nice bunch of question marks. :P What was supposed to show up? -
March 13th, 2018 7:09 PMUltra SunOops the Emojis aren't showing :p
-
March 13th, 2018 7:02 PMUltra SunFrench is beautiful, the grammar itself isn't that difficult, in fact it bears resemblance to Spanish, due to being a Latin root language. The pronunciation on the other hand...
Nope I haven't, for real! -
March 13th, 2018 7:10 AMLycanthropyWhoa... you didn't just... :O
Yup, that's right. The third mysterious one is German. I also had French, ancient Greek and Latin in high school for several years, but I forgot so much about them that I don't really consider myself "speaking" them.
It's alright. Lot of work though.
Dungeons & Dragons, a tabletop RPG. You must have heard of it, I think. -

You speak Dutch, right? And there's English and what is the another mysterious language? :p
Uni life, it's good (:
What is D&D? -
March 12th, 2018 5:26 AMLycanthropyNo worries, "giving up" is not present in my dictionary. ;]
Well, I did have Latin for six years in high school, but I forgot most of it by now. I find juggling between three languages tough enough already, haha. Oh I see, but everybody has got to start at the beginning, right?
Nothing too extraordinary. I've been spending a lot of time on uni stuff. The free I time I have is mostly filled with playing D&D and other board games. -
March 8th, 2018 6:30 PMUltra SunHave some faith, buddy. While it isn't a hundred percent back to it was, I know that everyone is trying their best to fix things. Which might take some time to restore back to its former glory, but don't give up!
For an English speaking person, it shouldn't be that difficult, or if you have the concept and knowledge of Latin languages, it's gonna be just a piece of cake! Ah it's the universal qualifications for speaking Spanish, A1 is only the basic level tho :p How about you? What have you been up to lately? -
March 8th, 2018 11:03 AMLycanthropyDirectly maybe not so much, but indirectly yes. The community is the most important part of PC (it's in the name after all) and it seems to be heavily split up. Wherever I go, I can't help but feel incomplete in a way.
Ah well, that explains. :p Is it difficult to learn? I don't speak a word Spanish myself, I even had to think 10 seconds to recall what "hello" was again in Spanish, haha. I don't know what that abbreviation means, but it sounds impressive. Good luck! ^^ -
March 6th, 2018 8:40 PMUltra SunSpoiler:
I hope that it wasn't someone's past that make you feel that way. My good friend, remember y'all helped build PC, the community wouldn't be the same without you. Don't let him or these fiascos affect you so much!
Dw, I haven't told before. and would be honestly freaked out if you know I'm studying a part time Spanish course during my day offs. Hopefully, I'll get my DELE A1 qualification soon! -
March 6th, 2018 10:53 AMLycanthropyAnd as modest as usual, I see. :P
No matter what I say, you're just going to interpret it however you like. So no comment.
Yeah, I do hope so. Admittedly, a part of me isn't fully comfortable staying around, but another part of me doesn't want to leave either. I'll try to keep a bit active and see what I can do as well. (:
Also, what were you studying again? You probably told me, but I forgot. :x -
March 6th, 2018 3:21 AMUltra SunYep, it is the hottest member on PC ;D
Does that mean it's gonna work out if you two aren't living apart? Interesting. :B
Yeah, it's the recent events here on PC that brought me back, actually... Everything is heading in the positive direction according to Jake's post. Give it time, we, as in all members of PC, will fix the community that we all love and care. (: With everyone's efforts, I'm sure everything will go well! -insert sun and sunflower emoji-
About me, busy with rl stuff mainly study and work. I'll try to stay active hahaha, although this isn't a promise! ;) -
March 5th, 2018 7:48 AMLycanthropySo it is you then. I wasn't actually sure, haha.
Pfff, we're "just friends" as it's called. Besides, I don't even know how that's going to work considering we're like on the opposite side of the planet. xD
But for serious, my head is kinda messed up by the recent events here, but otherwise I'm doing fine. I just returned from a hiatus myself as well actually. How about yourself?
