    Hey I just wanted to know if you knew how to fix the sethealingplace issue in JPAN's engine where the text appears after fainting, but doesn't disappear until a map refresh.

    Well I know there isn't a difference, but when searching for it, you need to include the 0. Don't worry about my problem too much, if you get the chance then I'd appreciate it, if not I'll figure it out with a few more tries. thanks for all your help tho :)

    There is no difference between those two offsets. I'm super busy right now, but I'll debug the asm when I get a chance....

    Well I tried about 20 different times, also I think the offset is "0EC5D0" not "EC5D0" and every time I changed the offset the screen turned white and VBA would crash, until I reset the numbers.

    From what I see, all you have to do is go to EC5D0 in a hex editor, type "15 89 07 08" and click save.

    Thanks. Now that makes sense, but the intro still appeared, was there some other thing i missed??

    [08XXXXXX] means, at location XXXXXX, type the number given. So, in a hex editor, go to EC5D0 and type 15 89 07 08.

    I was wondering if you knew how to skip the "gengar intro battle" in Fire Red.

    but I don't know what to do with that information, if you can help thanks!
