Oh yeah, it does that. I was pretty surprised when I first learned about it this summer.

Haha, I make it a point to play a bit every day! I'm kinda OCD like that. >_< Still, it frustrates me that I don't have a perfect town yet.

Ack, the 3DS is so weird. I'm not used to how it alerts you to other friends being online the same time you are. What's stranger is that it tells you what game they're playing!

I didn't know anyone played AC-New Leaf anymore. That game was like my second life for this entire summer and fall, until I inevitably ran out of stuff to do!

No, you actually have to log into the GTS for it to count as a trade on the GTS, but they all register the same.

I've only done basic trading with any passersby that asked for it, but they became acquaintances. Unless that's the GTS?

Yes, to an extent. GTS registers the country and language of the person you trade with into your Acquaintances. If a Pokemon is from a different language game, it registers that to the Pokedex. Otherwise, it doesn't have any real differences.

Haha! Is there a distinction between GTS and just plain trading with passersby? I admit I never really looked into some of the buttons on the PSS.

I...am a terrible GTS addict... I got the Zoroark as a Level 1 Zorua from a Peruvian player (after trading it for Helioptile). It was a nice addition.

Ah, that explains all those Dazzling Gleams. I'm surprised that you have Zoroark then. And maybe even more surprised that you have a team above level 50. But yeah, I understand; it's always good to do a thorough play-through.

Gym 6. I just beat Valerie. I would have completed the game by now, but I've been working a lot lately. I'm also doing a thorough play-through, so I haven't been trying to rush.

I've always found Lapras annoying to face in battle, and with its bulk, it's likely to get a successful Sheer Cold off. Especially with Leftovers. >_< How far are you into the game?

Lapras is excellent for just drawing out a battle, and Sheer Cold is an excellent filler move. I got lazy, though, and didn't give it Leftovers (I'm in the middle of raising it in-game actually, so I challenged you a little unprepared). Next time we battle, I'll have a more organized team. The ones I used were mostly ones just the ones I had over Level 50 and were kind of EV-trained. Admittedly, I still haven't actually beaten X yet.

Yeah, Mienshao fell in a really strange way. I expected Drain Punch or Poison Jab instead of High Jump Kick there! Defensive tactics are my favorite, with Leech Seed being my all-time favorite move. And Sheer Cold! I laughed a bit when I saw that; for some reason, I find OHKO moves hilarious, yet frightening. I had no idea what to do when you started using it, so I guess I resorted to flinch attempts with Dark Pulse. The funny thing is, someone else challenged me to a battle right after ours, and his Lapras packed... surprise! Sheer Cold.

At least you took out Mienshao and Zoroark. They're killers if you don't have a defensive strategy. I normally use them to bait people into switching to a Psychic type or Ghost type, but I change tactics when I see Klefki or Mawile. Also, I'm surprised how often Sheer Cold works, even if I have to use it a few times. It's always a nasty way to catch people off-guard; nobody sees it coming.

Yeah, that was a good one! I got super lucky with that paralysis, though I stupidly forgot to re-teach Klefki Thunder Wave after removing Cut earlier. >_< I'm up for a battle any time!

Whoa, that was a long match! Thanks for battling me. :)
