Yeah, sure! Though I never know what to trade, since I hesitate a lot if I don't have extras. I've been trading fossils lately, though. Any time you see me online, feel free to ask for a battle/trade! ^-^

We should battle or trade in our Pokemon games sometime... I keep forgetting to ask if or when you have time.

Oh, I have a touch-screen phone with apps and features. I think. It has lots of buttons on the menu screen and stuff. I only use its phone, text, and alarm clock features. Internet isn't even activated on it. It used to be my brother's, but he gave it to me (last year?) when something about my old flip phone stopped working.

Basically, they're considered touch-screen phones with a lot of apps and features (i.e. like the iPhone). I never cared for them. I still use an old-style flip phone. I can text, call, and go online with it, but that's about it. I was using it for FB a lot before I got home wifi finally, now I rarely use it for Internet unless I'm traveling and need to look something up.

Convenient demos are great things! I guess they can make demos longer too, since you don't have to go somewhere to try it out, where other people may want to as well.

Ouch, sounds annoying! Heh, smartphones. I'm so out-of-touch with phones; I have no idea what qualifies a phone as "smart." Typing things out? Because of auto-correct? Haha, I've seen quite a few hilarious conversations, just because of auto-correct.

I've kind of become a demo addict, for better or worse. I remember a time when I actually had to physically go to a store to play demos of games after they came out, but with EShop, I can just do it at home.

Also, ACK! I'm so glad I finally got WiFi at home. For the longest time I had to either jump around to wifi hotspots or go to the local library just to get online. Other than that, my only option was via my cell phone, which is a pain to use since it's not a smartphone (actually, I don't think I'd like a smartphone since my sister has one and she says it's kind of a pain to use when typing things out. Same as using the Internet browser on the 3DS, I'd think).

    Ah, I see.

Wi-fi is great to have! I think the first demo I downloaded was early this year, with HarmoKnight. Before then, I don't think I even knew about demos/didn't pay much attention to them.

It's supposed to be more like FF where the concepts are kind of similar, but the stories and settings are different. The only thing that's supposed to link the games is be the quest to get to Yggdrasil (or at least that's what I got from the descriptions of the two games on EShop).

Admittedly, I only started downloading demos when I (FINALLY) got wifi at home, i.e. a few months ago. It's great that EShop has them, otherwise I may have passed up FE: Awakening and EO4 not knowing how good they are.

The first thing that came to mind when I read "decaying research facility" was Biohazard, haha! Very intriguing. That's a pretty long demo! At least, I think so; I don't have that much experience with demos. Do you know if all the games are connected, or is it like Final Fantasy where the storylines are separate (at least, to my knowledge)?

It probably is. The premise is that you (as a warrior from a clan of spear-weilders called Highlanders) embark on a mission for the Radda Hall in the town of Etria to investigate the ruins of an ancient laboratory. Inside the decaying research facility, you find a bunch of ancient machines that have suddenly become active as you explore. Eventually, you come across a locked chamber that you have to find a way to unlock. That's where the title character comes into play. You open the door and find a girl sealed in a stasis pod, who suddenly awakens when you approach the machine. However, when she comes to, you and a group of strangers also investigating the ruins suddenly get attacked by a monster. (This is all happens within the first half-hour of gameplay, btw. The actual demo is easily an hour-and-a-half long, give or take.)

Hmm, Yggdrasil. Norse mythology seems to have a large influence in quite a few JRPGs. Sounds like Untold is kind of like a prequel. But yeah, trying out the demo sounds like a good idea! I'll give them a spin some time.

According to EShop, it's a two-part game. Classic mode is supposed to be a revised version of the first game's adventure, while Story mode is supposed to probe into the origins of Yggdrasil (this ancient Holy Tree in the game series). I'd urge you to try the demo of either EO4 or EOU if you have time. They're both worth downloading and cover a lot of the basics in each game, though you can only play the introduction to Story Mode in EOU's demo.

So since Untold doesn't have a 5 in its title, I'm guessing it's like some sort of spin-off? I'll have to look into the series sometime!

Nope, just EO4 so far and the demo of EO Untold: The Millenium Girl. I'm thinking about asking for the latter from my family for Christmas. I've been thinking about getting the DS titles, but I'm not sure if it's worth my time. As complex as EO4 is, I think the DS games may be even harder.

Haha, these FOEs sound pretty interesting, hiding secrets like that. Have you played the others in the series?
