    Hi there Zeostar!

How's it going friend? Working my way through all of my private messages and vms. I don't have Sword and Shield, I don't even have the switch yet, so it'll be awhile before I can pass a judgement on the games, but not having many side activities is something I have heard others say bbout Galar. I hear it's a fun story and the color and trainer customisation is popping, and lots of cool Pokemon, but it's short. The DLC will undoubtedly change the whole experience through with all the new Pokemon, characters and places. It looks awesome, I just wish it wasn't paid dlc, even if I get the Nintendo switch lite, Pokemon home and a copy shield would already be a strain on my budget. I can't afford the updates, but it sounds cool, and hoorah for those who can experience it. I'm curious to know what it will all look like.

I have always liked the swirlix line, and now alcremie kinda reminds me of it. When playing Pokemon XY girls can have a slurpuff dress, and it's my favorite item to dress my trainer sprite in. Swirlix is really cute, but I think Slurpuff is kinda cute too in fun, silly way. I like both. I know it won't help you much in Sword and Shield, but if you ever want to try using Slurpuff in XY, ORAS, SM or USUM I have all of those games and we could trade back and forth. If you want to play those regions again you could see what the final form is like, and find out how you like it that way.

I just took a picture of my Mimikyu crochet doll just for you. There he is on my bed. The quilt he's sitting on was also a pretty Christmas present I received.

You didn't ask a dumb question at all, that's exactly what crotchet is yarn art! You guessed right :D
Some people make animals, dolls, pokemon and all sorts of fun things out of crochet. In Japan this art form is known as amigurumi.

I'm glad that even in a time where things were dark you were able to find some light, that trip to the water park sounds really nice, I haven't been to one in a long time. I think my last stop was Water Country when I was 12 during a trip through Virginia, and it was awesome.

Thank you so much for sending that video! It made me smile so much!! /Hugs
I feel like I need to pay it forward and share this with more people. Now I want to sculpt that. This is so cool Zeostar, I subscribed to that channel so I could learn more about arts and crafts. I think you know about my love for dollmaking.

They did a beautiful job with Milotic, it looks so professional, just like her yet it doesn't look that hard to duplicate as I had expected, even though she is an intricate design. I feel like it's not too far out of my reach and I might be able to make something like this as part of an Easter project when dye my Pokemon eggs this year. I'm ready to fire off an order for some light clay. Thanks again for the fun!

Since I know that you're no stranger to working with your hands I was wondering if you had ever seen this video, bringing to life Honedge with metalwork? I had to send you something back on par with the sculpture video. I had to edit this message because I forgot to include the link haha.

I started playing Pokemon Sword a couple days ago. I'm 4 gyms through. The game is paced quickly since sometimes there's only one or two routes between gyms. I wish there were more side activities but it's still fun. I caught a Swirlix which I began to love because it's cute, but was devastated to find out it's a trade evolution...I might actually keep it unevolved since it's cuter. Also feel free to post a picture if you want, I'm interested in seeing the Mimikyu. And this might sound dumb but I'm not sure what a crochet is. In my head the word sounds like string or yarn art.

Yes I'm okay. My mood has went down since they left but that's normal. Some other family members took me to a water park which was fun. I went down the water slides and other stuff. And I should probably post more but most nights I'm content with just browsing. By the way this video is cool, and it reminded me of your username. I think I was going to share it a very long time ago, then it slipped my mind.

Hi Zeostar! I'm glad you had a good holiday season, and got time to spend with your family. That's awesome. You have a noble spirit, the Christmas gift you most look forward too being to be together with all of your siblings. I like the sound of that. That's what Christmas is all about really.

My own posting declined a little too, it's okay. We have all the time in the world.

You pokemon sword and shield? Nice! I got some cool things too. Of the pokemon related presents I got a nice crochet Mimikyu that I love to pieces. It looks like the real Mimikyu. I could post pictures later if you are interested.

I hope things are okay right now. I know it's tough because you have said goodbye to people you are close too. Nothing pathetic about tears for someone you care about. This might be a good time to start up pokemon Sword if you haven't already, give you something to do to ease your mind, new adventures to enjoy and friends to make with the creatures you meet. Come to PC too, let it be your safe haven.

Yes, I had an amazing holiday. Actually I went to the movies with all 3 of my older siblings. (And sister's boyfriend). I had the time of my life hanging out with them. It made me happier than any gift because I've eagerly wanted us to be together again for so long.

I understand. My posting activity sort of declined again. I log in almost nightly but sometimes I just don't have the mood to post. I got Pokemon Sword which was cool. Haven't played it much yet. Did you receive anything cool? If you don't mind me asking.

I've been better than ever. Dreading January 2nd with every approaching day. (That day my siblings all depart again, probably until next Christmas). There's a sense of unity with them around. When they leave I'll probably cry. As pathetic as that sounds.

Merry Christmas to you Zeostar! You're so sweet to think of me. Have your holidays been bright?

I have been almost exclusively at The Clubhouse since November, haven't been visiting as many other parts of the forum or Discord because I really want to boost activity there so that this part of the forum open, so I have been trying to boost and revive older clubs, open new clubs, host events, give out prizes, help prospective club owners brainstorm,my focus has been so singuarly on that. But it's time for me to stop and take break, and catch up with an old friend. How have you been doing? Any fun Christmas presents?

Christmas usually ends up being the only holiday I actually end up seeing any of my siblings. There's a possibility on Thanksgiving, but I usually don't see them all. Since the trip is rather far, they usually save expenses and make it the next month at Christmas. Oh but Halloween was nice this year. I hope you enjoyed it. I went around the neighborhood and got candy. I ended up giving it away to my mother though. I dressed up and everything this year.

I can't imagine the thought of contacts. I wouldn't be so good at getting them into my eye, and the thought of trying makes me shudder. I can't see far away but my vision up close is okay. I'm not wearing glasses right now because I'm sitting at a computer screen and I'm having no issues. As soon as I sit far away everything becomes a huge blur. Our downstairs TV is far from the couch. At night or in the very early mornings I like to sit down there and play on the game system, but without my glasses it's physically impossible for me to see the screen. Also I'm very picky about blurring. I notice the tiniest smear on my glasses and it causes me a big headache. I'm not sure if this is a normal thing, but I'm constantly cleaning them.

I cannot envision being neglectful either. When I'm even an hour late feeding my cats I begin feeling guilt. We previously would let our cats roam inside and out, but there became a fear of them wandering off and not returning. I have reason to believe one of our cats was poisoned. One of our neighbors infamously did not like animals, and hearing from a few others he would shoot them and dispose of them if they stepped on his property. Two of our pets were found outside dead in the same morning in our yard. Both had no issues of health in the past and I still don't believe this was a coincidence. We don't live there anymore though...even if he did something I don't hold any ill feelings towards him anymore, there's no point in that. I just hope that he had a change of heart.

Oh we did get our new dog. She has a very sweet personality and seems to love everybody she meets. She's a lab/pit-bull mix, but isn't expected to grow over 50 lbs. She falls asleep on me all the time.

Sadly I would say most or all of those friendships have faded out one way or another. Leaving high-school was also a huge blow for me. The first half of high-school was rough. I stuck being friends with somebody who wasn't exactly a good person. During the second half I did make lots of friends, but having to go separate ways after we graduated was difficult. I've tried keeping in a contact with a few but it's not so easy. Everybody goes different paths which has lead to only occasional contact. There was a point in high school were I looked forward to going every single day. I felt a sense of true belonging, but I've had to adjust to that being gone since graduation.

It's been a nice week. I hope your week has been nice too. I felt a bit sick this morning but it subsided.

    Hi there!

I can understand how you miss your siblings. I don't have any biologically brothers and sisters so I think people are lucky if they have any brothers or sisters :D XNaut here is fortunate enough to be a twin. I like your positive way of looking at things. Yes, the time that you guys do get to have together is super special!! I bet with holidays coming you'll be seeing eachother again soon. Any plans for Halloween or Thanksgiving?

My vision is so terrible that it's almost comical. Everything is awash and blurry without either glasses or contacts in. it's like looking through a fun house mirror when I don't have anything to correct my vision. When I wear glasses they are probably not clean because when I am putting them on I can't see well enough to tell if they are smeared or not. When they are on my face things still look way better than they did without them. I can only tell if there's water staining the spectacles. Anyway It's cool to have an excuse to buy somr snazzy designer eyewear to frame my face like a fashion accessory. Maybe one day I will try contact lenses with color in them.

Thank you for your kind words about my pets. Salem was outdoors in that picture, but he comes inside too. He comes and goes from our home as he pleases, we have a pet door. I would like to bring him inside all the time, but he technically belongs to the people who live next door to me, who honestly just leave him on the streets and don't lift a finger for him. I groom him, feed him and give him a warm bed here whenever he shows up. I wish I knew a way to get him out of their neglectful hands. The way many people treat animal gets me down sometimes, but people like you who love them cheer me up. <3

I hope your pup is feeling better and home with you, or on their way to you very soon. I am glad that it is nothing serious. I look forward to hearing about your new furry friend.

It's fascinating that you have found such a diversity of friends online of all ages from all over the world. That is really cool, and it does sound like a good way of adjusting to the absence of family moving out. You are never really alone. I have met so really fun penpals from Germany, Canada, Australia, England and more through the web. The wonders of science!

Hope you are having an awesome week!

It was a cool moment, and I wish that it wasn't so infrequent that I see any of my siblings. It's the result of everyone living so far away. :(. Then again when you look at it positively, it makes it so much nicer when we finally do meet up.

Glasses are amazing. My vision turns into such a blur when I try seeing far away. My only issue is they smear easily and I can't stand even the smallest smear, so I'm constantly cleaning them.

I would say that Fall may actually be my favorite season. There's a big holiday every month, and I love the atmosphere that starts around December. We do get snow here, but it's not constant. Usually twice in the Winter we will get a large amount.

We are having some delays on the adoption due to the health of the dog, unfortunately. She will be okay though and we should be receiving her within the next two weeks.

Thank you for the photos, I really enjoyed them, and also I think the names for your pets are great. All of them are beautiful. Out of curiosity, does Salem primarily stay outdoors? I noticed the photo looked like it was taken outdoors.

Here is something you might find interesting. I have been writing with others online in this way since I turned 10 years old. I would say that in all those years my closest friend is from this website. I think some other notable people I've written with, one was in his 80's. One person was from Germany, although that conversation wasn't sure too active, I was once received a phsyical letter. Honestly I just enjoy speaking with anybody, no matter who it is.

I am the youngest in my family by a fairly large gap, so I watched everybody move out. I think writing with others online became a way of coping with the fact that I was on my own most of the time. I still enjoy doing it.

Dear Zeostar! I just want to say, thank you for sharing so many amazing pictures with me over pm, and Discord and being my friend. Your brother looks like fun! You have such a nice smile in your pictures. I'm a glasses-wearer too. Shhh! ^_^
Replying quick is fine, as long as you don't mind me being slow and disorganized.

I'd love to hear about your new furry friend. Here are pictures of some of my buddies. I'll try to cover everything else we talked about in a private message soon, but I hope your autumn has been sweet. I love all the hardy, homemade foods appearing, the warm pies and candy apples. Will you celebrate Halloween or Thanksgiving.

This is my cat Ward, named after Ward Kimball the animator of Lucifer the cat from Cinderella. I think he's part Norwegian forest cat but nobody believes me because he was an abandoned cat I adopted him from Arf. Folks tell me that nobody would lose a cat that rare, but here he is. My Ward is smart, cool and likes to nonchalantly push a button just to see what will happen.

This is Salem, a cat I am kinda fostering temporarily, named after Salem the familiar from Sabrina the Teenage Witch. I have some bad neighbors who aren't taking care of him, so I stepped him. Salem is a frisky cat, and very affectionate and friendly.

This is Cotton, or at least that was his name when he was surrendered to the Humane Society where I volunteered. I call him "Prince" now that he is adopted into our family because he looks much more princely than cotton. Mom calls him Cotton still, so he's the Cotton Prince I guess? He's a very mellow dog who loves taking care of little animals like cats or smaller dogs or toys, kinda like the real-life herdier

    Cotton with bone

Then this was my Cinnamon German Shepherd, my first dog. He passed after several years of loyal companionship and is with my Grandfather now in peace. <3 He was brave, serious and a fierce defender. I have an old Christmas photo of us playing in the snow wearing matching Santa hats I am looking for.

Sending lots of hugs your way!

Hello. It's nice hearing from you. It's actually funny that you mentioned leaving Discord since I recently removed it from my phone. I wanted to play the new Mario Kart game and my phone needed space. Aside from speaking with you on there, I don't use the app much. Since the conversation went inactive for a while, I decided which app wasn't serving a purpose.

But yeah I understand how stuff piles up. I went back to one of my old email addresses and found it sitting at 9999+ unread emails. Hopefully you don't mind if I'm quick to reply at times. I enjoy speaking and writing with people a ton, but you can take as much time as you need.

    Hi Zeostar!

I hope you are doing okay my friend. I have taken a leave of absence from Discord, and the messages have piled up. I'm going through all of the pictures and replies you left, and will write back to you soon. Can't wait to catch up. Hang in there! I will send you a private message here on PC. ^_^

Hello. I am very well, hopefully you are also. Since the weather is nice I've been getting to do more outdoor things I enjoy, which makes me really happy.

And it's alright, there's no urgency to respond or anything though so don't worry. When school is busy for me I can't get online every day either.

Hey! How are you doing bro?

I'm sorry that I haven't responded to your pm yet. I look forward to writing but I hadn't been able to get on the site for quite a few days T_T
I am back now though! /hugs/

I thought I would just hit you up on your profile to say hi, and will cook up a good reply in private messages soon! All great things your way!
