wait, the dlc is $30! that includes both isle of armor and crown tundra. they're definitely not 30 for each part! @[email protected]

and yeah max lairs are wayyy better. the npc mons you get are much more viable, with usually good movesets and not bad stats. no more useless magikarp either. so much more tolerable! and the shiny rates are boosted, 1/300 without shiny charm and 1/100 with :D

and hope you do watch korra soon ~ not as good as the original for sure, but still fun.

I'm not sure what max lairs are, but how it sounds reminds me of max raid battles. I actually tried doing them on my recent playthrough, the NPC's were just not helpful. I only beat a single 5 star raid battle. It was especially upsetting when it gave me magikarp on a 5 star raid battle. I do wish the prices for the DLC could be toned down slightly. Buying them together would be $60, which is the price of a full switch game. I could even buy Shield for that much.

I admire how independent cats are, and I still love them of course. I agree about dogs. They do require much more attention, for me that quickly turns into becoming attached.

I still plan of watching Legend of Korra soon. I got distracted following a let's play on YouTube.

yeah it's been out a few days! this dlc is definitely a looot better than the previous, there is a lot to do. calyrex has an interesting story and everything else has been pretty cool too so far, but I'm not close to being done yet. I like really like max lairs especially ^^

and yeah dogs are super sweet. I love it. probably not for me though since I really like how low maintenance and typically quiet cats are, but I can still love pups from afar! she looks so precious too awwwwwww

Playing these games on set somewhat gives more incentive to use defensive pokemon, since every time you switch it forces you to take a hit. But I can only tolerate playing on set in the new games because EXP is already distributed to everybody. I understand how it is with the online. To be honest, I was only interested in online because it's the closest thing to virtual console. By the way did you get the crown tundra DLC? I'm not sure if it's released yet, but on pokemon showdown they added a bunch of new pokemon.

I do have somewhat of a preference towards dogs, just because the attachment they feel towards people is unreal. Our dog will place herself near the door when we leave the house, and will remain for hours until we return. When she hears the door open you can see her perk up and start crying from happiness. She even waits outside my bedroom door in the morning. Today marks one year of having her. She's 1 and a half years old.

    I really do wish let's go had more mons yeah! or at least the ones you mentioned, like evolutions of gen I pokémon. would've made using mons like golbat a lot more exciting. crobat is so cool! and yeah, noctowl is such a great support. if Pokémon games were a little bit harder I can see defensive mons like those getting more use through the game. I'd really like to replay now.... but don't want to start a new account on my switch for a new file, since that means my switch online won't be there. oof! still wish I could buy Sword too sometimes ;^;

awww baby girl! yeah some cats are like that, but they are still sweet and love being around their owners. I had a tomcat like that too. he was very protective of the house and extremely defensive to make sure no other cat got close to us when he saw them outside, loved us a lot in that regard. I miss him every day. she's so cute too!!! what cute markings :3c

To put it bluntly, noctowl is weak. I used it in gen 2, and it wasn't the star member at all. But with the new EXP system, pokemon don't have to KO for experience. So it allowed noctowl to play more of a support role since it has hypnosis, reflect, and light screen. And it still gains experience. It also has nice defensive stats. (100 base HP, 96 special defense). That does sound fun, trying a game with all weaker pokemon. I have a hard time breaking out of the traditional way I go about playing. I tried monotype but got bored with the restrictions.

I wish let's go pikachu/eevee would have kept the kanto evolutions they received in later gens. Like onix turning into steelix, tangela to tangrowth, etc. Aside from that I think the game is underrated and doesn't deserve the hatred just for appealing to a more casual side.

I love animals. Yes, they are pure and I feel that whenever I look one in the eyes. I enjoy nature as a whole. When covid ends I wish to visit a zoo or safari park. I have a cat who is a bit of the opposite. She's solitary, has a dominant personality. (We bring other pets in and she asserts herself as the boss immediately). Will only approach if she wants food or water. I still love her unconditionally. She's 11 years old right now, she's been there more than half my life and I hope in my heart she has many more years. (Here's a photo of her).

ahaha wow!! I haven't used noctowl in the game for soso long, it was pretty weak when I tried using it in gold/silver. awesome that it worked for you, ngl I kinda wanna play a run of some pkmn games with weak/underrated mons now.... ;w; he is cool though yes! I liked him a lot cause of Ash's shiny noctowl from the Johto anime aha

And to be fair I just really like hoenn. I also like let's go pikachu and eevee, to be honest I just think the games are cute.
omg we're so similar. I feel exactly the same way lol

and awwww. you must have loved her a lot. animals are so pure and lovable, it's so hard to ever lose them. My kitty was the sweetest pet I have ever had... shy but very gentle and loved being petted. that type of innocent and pure personality made it even harder to lose her. but we both had such great experiences with our pets... <3

I did it on my first try. I was slightly under his levels, and playing on set mode. I sold all my revives because I don't like using them in battle. I randomly caught a noctowl and it ended up saving me so many times in this game it was hilarious. Noctowl survived an outrage from haxorous, and saved the whole team because it was able to set up reflect. Noctowl is now one of my favorite flying types. It was the last surviving in 3 gyms, the only reason i beat oleana, the only reason i beat hop in the tournament was because it loved me and survived with one HP.

MK7 does a similar thing when holding A. I thought oras did a great job improving on the rivals, especially the match with Wally at the end. And to be fair I just really like hoenn. I also like let's go pikachu and eevee, to be honest I just think the games are cute.

I'm glad it's getting better. It's okay to think about it, and you'll always keep a part of her with you. Our dog ripped up a toy and left the mess in my room. When she passed away, it took 6 months before I could get myself to clean it up. And she really was an incredible teacher. One of the professors noticed I looked gloomy, I told her what happened and that I still showed up for finals. She gave me a hug.

it wasn't too tough for me, but I was probably a little overleveled! did you manage to finish it up? :O

and yeah MK7 was great. I love it. actually played some MK8 recently after not playing in ages and it was fun! But ugh, forgot how much it makes your thumb hurt to keep holding down A to move, loool. and heck yes oras were great!! so glad someone agrees!!

    and thank you, it has. <3 I still think about it daily, but it's gotten a bit easier now and I don't really cry as much. It's really sad sometimes to think about how fleeting life is, but it's important to make the most of it while we're all here. but wow... you had an incredible teacher, I wish more of them can be like that. really glad it worked out, but I'm still super sorry you had to go through that ;__;

I'll probably start Korra tomorrow. I'm trying to finish up Pokemon Sword. I'm at the championship tournament. I'm not sure how Leon is going to go. I'm not exactly crushing the tournament matches.

3DS was a great system. Mario Kart 7 was my one of my favorite childhood games. Gen 6 Pokemon games were also some of my favorite ones. Particularity Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire.

I don't live in a city, even though I've been to DC countless times. I'm always overwhelmed by the amount of things to do. It's such a different feeling.

I hope it's been getting a little easier. Grief is okay and should be done as long as you need. Losing a pet is losing family.

In my own experience, our dog got sick a couple years ago around christmas. She had to be put to sleep at the vet. Right after that, I had to go to school and do a presentation. Before I started I explained what happened, and if my ability to present was hindered that was why. The teacher was wonderful. She pulled me aside, excused me from the presentation, and gave me full credit. Not everyone would have been that understanding, so I did luck out.

it was amazing ;w; glad you liked!

and yeah I understand re: Switch, it's a nice console but I can see why some people would be disappointed. for me personally the 3DS was the best we have had for a while, though as a kid I was addicted to the gbc and gba too. so many memories!

and yeah, NYC for me! summers can be pretty hot and humid, and winters can be pretty dry and cold. it's already getting fairly cold, was 48 a couple of nights ago @[email protected]

and thank you so much. it's been hard, but I'm slowly getting better. <3

I loved it. I watched the final episode twice. If you plan on re-watching I don't want to spoil it, but Ozai got completely what he deserved. It really was a great series, so I hope korra will hold up.

I'm pretty happy with my current consoles, so most likely I won't get it. I'm sad the switch doesn't have a proper virtual console. I grew up where everything was already digital, so the wii shop was pretty much my childhood. You can probably understand why I feel disappointed in the switch. I mean it does have some cool stuff on it. I got to play final fantasy 7 for the first time.

Do you get cold winters? I'm not entirely sure of your state and it's not really my business to ask. I think you mentioned new york in a post, but I've never been so i'm not sure of the weather. I've only been to new jersey once with my family.

I'm probably not the greatest at wording this, but I saw you posted about losing a pet and i'm sorry to hear of it. I send my condolences.

    yaaas what did you think?!

and nope, xbox isn't for me ;-; the playstation has more games i'd like (like rpgs) so i'm much more likely to get that one! do you think you'll get the new one??

dream team got better later on imo, couldn't finish it though because my copy kept freezing after a certain boss battle. that was the only time I ever bought a pre-owned game too... never again. :(

colder weather is <3 though I honestly get cold easily, at least it's easier to warm up than cool down lol.

I'm about to watch Sozin's Comet (The final epsiode), I've been excited for this the entire day. I can't wait to see how it plays out when Aang meets ozai.

Are you planning on getting the new Xbox? To be honest, I loved the xbox 360, but wasn't ever interested in xbox one.

I've never played any luigi's mansion game, but I might soon since it's halloween season. I do have dream team, I didn't enjoy it much, but i should probably give it another chance. The first few hours felt very sluggish and I eventually didn't want to play anymore. Which is a shame, because I liked Bowser's Inside Story.

Oddly, I never felt weird about dressing up. It's my favorite part of Halloween. That and I like the colder weather and atmosphere. Especially Christmas atmosphere

yesss! so close :D and omg... I barely remember that scene. shows just how long it's been since I watched, so I think I'm going to do what you did soon and watch.

and ohh wow maybe I heard of the sequel yrs ago then but forgot. seems more likely we'll get a sequel now though with the recent buyout though, and they'd probably want people to have more reasons to get the new xbox. or so I assume. will see!

(only mario spinoff I played was dream team... and bf and I played luigi's mansion for switch, not done yet but super fun and pretty-looking game!!)

I dressed up when I was like 10 but that's it. wouldn't do it in my teenage years personally since by that point I was too introverted and disinterested to consider such things, but glad you had fun <3 and lmao putting a costume together last minute is super impressive and I wouldn't be able to do it regardless ahahah
