Bleh, that sucks. I expected them to be like the chairs in the cinema. Haha, where you could move back the armrests and basically make a loungeroom sweet for yourself. =P
Oh sounds great! I've never been on one of those tour trains, but those chairs do sound comfy. It would be good if they folded right back into beds. :P
Ah yeah. And mmm, I got snaps for when my dad went. It looked amazing, and I can't imagine how great it'd look irl.
Yes to both questions, although seater seats (as in no bead, just a large chair than can fold back) is not the greatest for sleeping, it turns out, which we took in the second leg. :< First was called the Ghan and the second the Indian Pacific.
Been to melbourne but I don't remember much as I was very young then. I have been to Tasmania though a few years bac. Quite enjoyed that trip too, and the forests there were very nice. The whole place is notably...well, green too, to put it that way.
Oh wow, did you enjoy it? And was it one of those tour/relaxation trains where you can dine and relax in, while you look out over the Australian landscape or merely just an ordinary stinky, dirty train? xD And I'm in little ol' Melbourne. It's a shame you didn't come to Victoria, although we don't have plently to offer. lol Tasmania you really should've explored. I would kill to go there and be amongst the natural environments and wildlife.
Well, by around australia it was more darwin by plane, train through australia to adelaide and back to sydney by another train. But whereabouts in australialand do you live?
Oh cool. Now wait WAIT, you travelled 'round Australia. We should've met up somewhere lol - it'd be totally awkward but who cares! And that's just plain sucky, especially that dreadful feeling when you know that your relaxtion won't last too long. :P
Alright overall; had a long family holiday but I am back now. Was in various places around Australia. And now there's only a week left of uni break for me. ;_;
