Again thank you for the link. Very thoughtful of you. I might as well mention, the shooter is dead. Instead of surrendering and going to prison, he shot himself in the head. The school did it's best. It was shut down for a while, then they had on site counselors and therapy dogs. At first my attitude was "I need no help". Needless to say, that was a poor way of thinking. I did eventually start taking prescription medication (for the first time ever).

As a heads up, AEW does not have the same sprawling woman's division as WWE. It's still taken seriously, but it's still a new fledgling company and the woman's division has not fully grown. That said, the champion britt baker is wonderful. She plays her character so amazingly. Definitely worth your time to check out her promos on youtube. That said, when you say peeps is it a reference to Christian?

I find it difficult to come up with anything for Trivia/Forum Games without it already replicating an existing games. I guess it's not just a 'me' thing considering how many threads got locked for being too similar.

Nobody should have to go through that my friend, I'm so sorry 😢

I will pm you a link to a video that greatly helped with my PTSD related nightmares. If they come back then give it a try, it's a boring video, but you only need to watch it once, and it does work :)

Epcot is surprisingly nice even when you don't ride anything. Animal Kingdom is like that too, I just love the atmosphere, even if I don't go on anything!

I am going to give AEW a try, thank you! Yeah ignore those kind of "fans" there's no right or wrong way to watch wrestling, those kind of peeps are toxic to the community.

If you don't post it though, it will definitely get no replies!!! I promise I would reply at least anyway. If you decide against it, I might steal your idea in the future at some point 😁

ZeoStar really was. It was a normal morning, then suddenly there was gunfire going off in a hallway. (as this occured, a girl was shot and did not live). I ended up locked in a classroom. It's been 3 years. I'm doing okay anyways. I've tried to be strong and move forward, an occasional nightmare here and there...but it's all good.

We didn't get to explore florida too much. I would have liked to have visited a beach. We did go to Universal and I fell in love with the Virtual Reality rides. Epcot was nice too. I didn't expect I would enjoy it so much, despite not riding a single thing.

AEW is worth trying, it gives me a ruthless aggression vibe. I've seen a post floating the internet stating "There's an entire generation of fans who are now grown up who only witnessed WWE in the PG era. They will never understand true wrestling, do not waste time speaking with them". It was a nasty condescending post. Like there isn't an entire library of videos and archives. I unliked every page that was sharing it around.

I always dread clicking my thread the next day (or week) and seeing 0 replies. It doesn't happen 98% of the time, but when it does, it stings quite a bit. I'm fine with even 1 reply, but seeing 0 does hurt.

That is absolutely terrifying Zeo. I completely understand why you would be uncomfortable about these things. The security was pretty good at every wrestling event I've been to, but they were all big company events (ie WWE) so I can't speak for smaller ones.

The security at Disney World has really been beefed up in recent years, and I feel incredibly safe there. Outside the parks... not so much.

I have not missed a Raw or Smackdown since I was a kid. Now I just don't feel I'm gonna catch up with what I've missed. I think I'm gonna give AEW a try tbh.

E&M would probably be the correct place, yes, but don't worry too much about activity, if everyone puts off posting there because it's quieter than off-topic, then it will always remain so 😉

In response to the other message, that local show was the only sort of wrestling related event I've ever attended. I often wonder about the security at these WWE events. As someone who lived through a school shooting, it's always in the back of my mind at these large venues. I loved Disney World, but I was so uncertain on the way there. It was a great time though

I have gotten more into the fandom again. I watched AEW this week and Summerslam. In case you haven't gotten to watch it I won't spoil it. But I really enjoyed Edge vs Seth Rollins. Anything Cena related is nostalgic to me. I think he's one of the most underrated wrestlers. He's never been bad on the ring or on the mic.

I feel like if I make a thread related to celebrities it might get pushed into entertainment and media. I usually don't get any replies over there, so I try to steer away. Sometimes the only reason I make threads is because there isn't anything new to post in, so I'm like "might as well make something myself". I do like the new marvel logo you have on your thread.

This was really cool if you didn't catch it. I don't think I had ever seen an audience so loud, people were in tears.

Those are two of the best of their generation, that is so cool!

Ron must have looked huge to a 14 year old!!!

I don't remember that thread tbh, so if you did make it then, it must have been a long while ago. I don't think anyone would mind :)

Speaking of women wrestlers, I went to a small local show and got to meet Lita around my 14th birthday. She was with Ron Simmons of the APA. Embarrassingly...I actually didn't know who they were at the time. But they were super friendly.

Lita gave me a high five, and Ron Simmons actually spoke to me. He was like "Hey fella, thanks for coming to the show. Hope you enjoyed it".

Something tiny but a very cherishable memory.

Almost makes me want to make a thread about meeting celebrities. (Except...I feel like I have already made it before).

Kurt was actually so good out of the ring too back then, he was underused from character perspective!

Well put it this way, the women's evolution appeared to be completely over the last time I watched ;(

Back to being treated as the toilet break or just there for objectification.

My love for wrestling started as a little kid when my older brother purchased wrestlemania and I watched Shawn Michaels try to end the Undertaker's streak. I watched wrestling before that, but it was the moment that really hooked me.

I wouldn't turn down a good match, but I also think that there is more to wrestling than gymnastics. Unfortunately I was too young and didn't see a prime Rock or even Kurt Angle. (Only matches I saw of the two were Rock vs Cena and Kurt vs Baron Corbin). However using the WWE network/Youtube I watched them, and they had such unique styles. Kurt would stay aggressive, constantly using grabbles and actual amature wrestling techniques. Rock is so good at acting, I feel like watching his matches are like watching an action movie.

I'm not sure what you mean by WWE being sexist, but then again I haven't been a regular fan for about 3 years. I thought the woman's division was doing quite bell with Sasha, Bailey, Charlotte and Becky.

CM Punk is heavily rumored to be returning to AEW in a week or two. Chris Jericho looks like the happiest he has been in his entire life. His smile is so wide in this video (

Yes I did! I have been a lifelong fan too and I know exactly what you mean about characterisation.

There used to be a lot of weird and wonderful gimmicks too, it just doesn't happen anymore.

I very much care how good they are in the ring though, as well as how good they are out of it. Good wrestling is like a cross between gymnastics and dancing to me!

With that said though, for the first time in my life I might have stopped watching. I love it to bits, but I drifted away from WWE a few months ago because it started getting very sexist and homophobic again, after almost going in the right direction. I'm not sure what has happened, but it feels like Vince is trying to go back 20 years right now.

I might start again, or I might go "All In" 😅

Not to bother you, but you probably figured out from my scattered posts I was a fan of watching wrestling.

I have a controversial take on wrestling that doesn't quite sit well with most of the fanbase. I feel way more invested in the character part of wrestling, and I don't care much about how good the wrestler does in the ring. That's pretty much why I started feeling turned off from pro wrestling as a whole. It seems to have become the dominant opinion that the wrestling part should take priority over the wrestlers having a personality, and it bores me. I hear Smackdown is pretty good right now with Baron Corbin, Roman, Cena (my childhood wrestler). I hope summerslam can renew my interest as a fan.

My current favorite wrestler is Pac (Neville) so I still watch the AEW pay-per views just so I can see him. He's so good at everything, from being a mean heel to being entertaining all the time.

At the same time, the fanbase also gets really nasty about AEW. Like, all over my social media feeds people are trashing it. Enjoyment is subjective, the insults are just unnecessary and almost make me feel bad for trying to be a fan.

Oooooh my god you have no idea how much of a mess he originated from. I was playing the story mode of one of these WWE 2K games, and it was the most hilarious disaster of a story I had ever witnessed. Billy Sharp was the character I created to play through the story with. It made no sense. The story would force Billy into random tag-teams, they would betray him for no reason at all. Sometimes there would be random filler feuds with Dolph Ziggler, until one day the story had to finally end and it gave him a world title match. There was this one time it made me team with Baron Corbin, he betrayed me. Then later the story placed me back with Baron Corbin like nothing had ever happened.

The dialogue looked like a 6 year old child had written it and I'm not exaggerating. My dialogue options were things such as "My hero is John Cena"! or "My will to fight comes from John Cena"! He would shout the goofiest catchphrases before his matches, the most common being "SMACK DAB"! or "SMACKY DAB!". I almost never cringe, but one time he shouted before his match "Dat Smacky Dab Tho". And that got me.

So yeah that's his back story. Now he's being made in every 2K game I play as memory of that mess of a story.

Thanks! It was a very happy birthday. I didn't expect anything, but ended up with $200 worth of gift cards.

I'm really glad you got your CAWs back, it sucks to lose anything you've invested so much time in.

Billy is pretty sharp!!! Sorry, had to be done ;)

Have you thought about creating a back story for him since you make him every time?

    Also... Happy Birthday!!!
