I'm really sorry for the late reply, I have been having a lot of trouble connecting to PC lately. Stupid wi-fi.....

Anyways, I bet composing takes a lot of work and redos and frustration. But I bet it is also rewarding when you finish something you have worked so hard on and know that you created something amazing. I really hope to hear more of your work in the future.

Thanks so much, I really appreciate it!

Yeah, the Majora's Mask piece is my favourite composition. I placed tons of layers of different ambient sounds together with my piano track to give the song the dark and gritty feeling I experienced when playing through the game for the first time as a kid. I was planning on making it longer by having it run into the light-hearted theme of Clock Town, but decided, in the end, to finish it as a single track. Composing is hard. >_<

OMG I LOVE YOUR PIANO PLAYING!!!!!

Seriously, that is some of the best piano I have ever heard. I especially loved the Song of Healing from Majora's Mask. Did you compose both of those pieces?

Oh wow, that rom hacking business sounds really cool. Maybe I can get into it sometime myself. And I really look forward to listening to your playing.

    Heck yeah I have a couple bits - check out https://soundcloud.com/karlharmer :).

ROM hacking is pretty much modifying a video game to alter the game's graphics, dialogue, levels, gameplay, and other elements. When playing the Pokémon games as a kid, I always hoped for different storylines/events/graphics, and with ROM hacking, I can do that all myself. It's the main reason why I joined this site.

(btw i love the lugia t-pose avatar lmao)

That must be pretty cool to have people want to play the piano with you. I would love to hear your playing sometime. Have you uploaded any videos of your playing to somewhere online, out of curiosity?

And I hope I don't sound ignorant, but what exactly does ROM hacking involve? Changing computer codes for programs?

I mostly play behind closed doors but I have had some amazing experiences on public pianos, especially when strangers decide to come up and duet with me :P

Wow, both sound like really cool hobbies to have, especially composing music. I play the guitar some, but am definitely no composer! Do you play in public much, or just at home?

Ooh, I always wanted to get into chess, but honestly Sannse I suck lmao. I remember even getting beaten playing AI on the easiest difficulty... Well, you've probably seen I like to do ROM hacking, but other than that I love to compose music. I love to play the piano too. I don't know what I'd do without music in my life :).

I really like playing chess, even though I'm not the best at it, as well as listening to all kinds of music. My favorite kinds of music are country and pop. What other interests or hobbies do you have?

Yeah, I understand - I lurked for a solid 8 years before even making my first post on here, lol. But yeah it's a good idea. We don't bite. I have met a lot of cool people since I started posting on here (including you now), which is pretty awesome. What other things are you into besides Pokémon?

Oooh yes, those things are indispensable. I guess I'm busy with so many other online activities that I don't think about hanging out here much. But I hope to slowly become more active here.

You said it :). Funnily enough, now that you mention it, it does seem like my favorite names to use online over the years have begun with S. Such as Southie, Skiyomi and Sei. I guess there is just something special about S.
