It's the screen position of the mouse. It's between 320 by 240 (since Rm2k3's size is that size).
You just check and see if the mouse cord is equal to a value of the screen.
Or between values (to make a box, top left corner and bottom right corner).
Use 002 variable for X value and 003 variable to Y value.

    Thanks so much Neo!
For the PM I have solved it pretty much but for pictures
if you want a person to click it do you use the mouse variables example the picture
you have to click is between 126,78 and 102,74 so do you have to branch out where the mouse is where they click?

    Hey buddy.
Yeah, to do the follow script. Just track the position of the hero and the pokemon. Then use maths.
So if the player's y is greater then the pokemons, move the pokemon down one. If it's less, move him up one, and same for the X in the other directions.
I just saw your PM about the mouse patch. I don't understand what's your problem. Should work fine.

Hey Neo Happy New Year and I was wondering how you did that follow script. From older posts I know you do something when you move up the variable X or Y goes up which causes the event to move up or something like that.

You need to make a 2 variables called NPC X, and NPC Y. Then have a parallel common event that sets the variables equal to the X and Y map value of the NPC.

Sorry to bother you Neo but can you lock the Pokemon Excel thread in the Game Dev Forum(its on the 2nd page) because I have posted a new one in the Games Showcase or you can just move the thread in Game Dev if that suits you.

Thanks for the comment. Don't worry about double posting in your game thread btw. It had been 3/4 days and you did post a good amount of screenshots. Good luck with the game. I'm always in support of RM2k3 games ha.

I don't have the file any more man. It was deleted when my computer crashed. I only backed up Protectors, so I lost all 3 of my old games.
