I have my own idea of an ideal society. There IS an objectively good system; we just need to find it. And we can do so by tearing down what is negatively impacting us and trying to progress and not regress. In my opinion, the transition from monarchy to democracy was humanities biggest regressions.

I agree. In terms of the experiment, however, it is the one I will be using. Every system ever devised by man is and will be inherently flawed. But a system devised by one is always going to be their perfect system and not anyone else's so there's that.

I dont think monarchy is the best system. Its inherently flawed, and many of the negative things about it are just negative things about government in general. I just absolutely despise democracy as a governmental system.

Monarchism is extremely interesting. Its very misunderstood. Have you read Hans-Hermann Hoppe? He has some good stuff on monarchy, mostly as an attack on democracy because he isn't a monarchist.

Most people don't have his size, true, but you can bet money that if he was shot people would all cry about how he was unarmed. This was awhile back, and I don't like to name names. That and I can't remember the guys name anyways. I just called him Conan cause he had that cut chin and long hair that reminded me of Arnold. Also he was strong as muk.

So, I think it just best to remind people about the personal weapon crime statistics put forth by the FBI and the DOJ. That's the best recourse I can imagine.

I was looking at your 'make your own government' thread. Very interesting. I'll have to boot up the computer to actually get the site to work properly. I like the Idea of a monarchy as well, so that's a coincidence. I just think a well qualified individual with certain set parameters would function better than a lot of the failed economic systems we see today. I'll play around with it for a bit and see what I come up with.

Well, do keep in mind that an 'unarmed' man that'she on pain killers is never unarmed. You have no clue who knows judo, kickboxing or any other martial skill. That'said why people shoot people that have no conceived 'weapon'. People tend to think a weapon is something that you can pick up, but personal weapons means hands and feet. Just imagine if a dude the size of Arnold Schwarzenegger came barreling towards you. Not a pleasant thought, is it?

Also, related to big guys, we had this huge native American, I think he was Cuhuilla, in Riverside County. Huge guy, we're talking 7 foot pushing 8. Had to use leg cuffs for his wrists. Now, when you're a cop they tell you all about using your best judgement and the proper force needed to survive.

So this guy was in the parking lot, and we had some run ins with this guy before and this guy is like Conan the Barbarian or something because it took eight officers to take him into custody before.

So he's out in a parking lot, hopped up on PCP and pulling up the trees in the parking lot. The trees. Now these trees are your typical lame parking lot trees that aren't very much of a tree to begin with but to have the strength to go ripping them up?

So the first officer, about 5 foot, to respond is in his care. The perps sees him so he calls for back up. We rolled code three and when we all get there this dude is cuffed and sitting on the curb. Just stoned and a bit Dazed so we're just thinking he got his dosage wrong and keeled over.

We get back to the station and the arresting officer is sweating bullets. So he goes and talks to the Sarge and the lieutenant, cause they asked him what was wrong and how'd he ever manage to get the guy in cuffs. He hit the dude with his squad car! Not a scratch on the big guy. It wound up being justified force, so nothing ever became of it.

There are people like that, and the only other way to stop that guy one on one was to shoot him, cause if you got close enough with that weak taser we had he'd just get angry. Broke two officer's bones. Fractured a guys wrist and snapped another's leg when he kicked it in. Big guy. Scary tough.

I found out that only 40 unarmed blacks were killed by police in 2015. 40 too many, but it certainly does not fit the narrative.

People also forget that the great majority of cops are just regular people and have low standards for training, so its not surprising if they are reactionary and stuff like you said.

Sometimes I do wonder. I had someone else tell me that expert witnesses actually plan the defense. Why do I even bother?

On police shootings and violent crime, it's one of those things that isn't as common I think. There are far more violent crimes than police shootings. Police are largely reactionary and people tend to forget that.

True. Although I dont really have a counter-argument to the lack of correlation with police shootings and violent crime statistics. Other than drug war? Ill have to look more and rethink some stuff.

Eh. It's just what it is, I guess. Sometimes I lose it and lose sight of my objectives and in the end no one really reads it all, so meh. What I don't like is people that cause issues and cover their ears and go 'lalala' all the way home. You can tell 'em all about the evidence but sometimes I feel like It's wasted time.
