I know it's a reference to RBY, but I like to think it's a JoJo reference because of the muscles. :P

The gag hasn't been used since Hoenn, I think it's a good time to bring it back.

Is it a jojo reference tho? I think it's more a reference of his old sprite art on the OG R/B games.

The Jigglypuff thing's a bit... weird... don't know how it'll pan out in the long run since we've seen the gag done well (and to death).

Brock's rock hard abs are the only thing that matters because JoJo reference.

I'm excited for Jigglypuff's return if it means giving her more excuses to return in the next Smash Bros. game.

Still tho, it was a fun two part episode, that really tugged those nostalgic strings in my brain.

After over a decade, and all we got from it was a 10-year-old girl stripping on-screen causing many hentai images to be created, leaving them bait for the FBI to arrest them. >_>

Not really... It was the editors of Shogakukan who'm cancelled the manga... The anime didn't get cancelled it was only slated for a 12 episode run, with a couple of OVA's.

The manga got axed because of the lack of popularity. Even a DOA Extreme 3 crossover couldn't boost the series popularity.

As I've stated in the same thread:
US Studio's could be compared too Magazine anthology publishers like Shounen Jump tho. As your work could be axed after a couple of months if you don't rake in the votes for best chapter of the week since they effectively own the IP of your creation. But even so, if you don't want the exposure of Shonen Jump you could always just publish your work yourself. Doujin works that become mainstream hits can sustain itself..
If Keijo!!! was primarily owned by the creator and he wanted to get another 12 episode anime, he'd get it if he had the budget.

n Japan the creators have a say to whether the show continues or not. What if the animation studio's already fully booked or their contract ran out for the season? they can just find another studio to make the show for them. Most channels also have tons of slots for different shows, unless its primetime.
Wasn't the creator of Keijo forced to end the series abruptly because the anime adaptation flopped?

Of course we're getting more new announce games on E3. The biggest question is what those games are because every E3 leak and rumors on their line-ups have been wrong. I'm just crossing my fingers for a Bowser spin-off title.

Yep... everyone built up so much hype for Pokemon on Switch that any game they show on the direct would've been a disappointment.

There's one single piece of "Evidence they keep clinging on and that's the high resolution Pikepek render from the first trailer... ignoring the fact that GF might have been designing the pokemon on a higher resolution only to compress it for the 3ds later.

Think we'll be getting more on E3? Nintendo do release directs at E3, you never know what they might show there...

I warned everyone in PC not to trust the Stars rumor because the original sources have been proven wrong in the past, and I also warned them not to expect DP remakes because of how we were previously expecting Hoenn remakes in Gen V.

Everyone built an expectation for Stars on switch that they where blinded by the fact that GF was still hiring new staff for the development of the monsters on HD for switch. So now every mainstream game media is disappointed at the news... Is it really disappointing tho?

Really? I never thought the FGC was that petty XD In essence Arms is like every other casual fighter in Japan. Where you're locked into an enemy and you strafe from side to side while simultaneously attacking :D

I have, Stars AND Sinnoh bandwagoners were blown the heck out.

ARMS is a unique take on the fighting game genre that's currently being attacked by members of the FGC (fighting game community) for not being a "real" fighting game like Street Fighter, even though SFV flopped.

Dude did you see the direct? Looks like the 3ds isn't down for the count just yet.

I haven't gotten the chance to check out ARMS... looks like a good so far, but it looks more of a party game than a fighting game to me...
