I wanted to say goodbye to all of my friends before i left for real, so that's what i'm gonna do. Thanks for being a good friend on the forum, i really appreciate your good vibes! If you ever want to find me again, i have a Discord, The Foogle#6946. It would be cool to see you again on there!

Just note that I am always available whenever you want to chat with me. :) I am also going to look into patching tools and guides. When I finish and learn about it, I'll get back with you and tell you about my experience.

Well, i'm glad we could clear the air! It's great to talk to you again! All of the misunderstandings are pretty understandable. It's always hard to properly end a conversation when you have absolutely nowhere left to go, so there's that awkward silence from both parties as the conversation is dropped by both people unanimously, heh.

the fact you sent me a friend request proves that you're a sweetheart
D'aww, you're making me get the warm fuzzies!

Patching a ROM isn't hard at all, actually. Most of them have a guide on how to patch them, but usually you need a patching tool, like XDelta (Some ROMS even come with a patcher!)

I'm glad to hear it. I'm doing well too. Oh, I'm sorry if I sounded like I was offended when I responded that day. That wasn't my intention at all and I wasn't offended. I'm not easily offended at all. I try to live up to my name the best I'm able. My tone when responding to that wasn't me being offended, but rather me not understanding how you could misread what I said. If anything, my reaction was meant to be a silly as in, "How in the world can you misread that." lol Trust me, I wasn't offended by anything you said, and I don't dislike you at all. In fact, based on our conversations, your forum posts, how outgoing you are on the forums, and the fact you sent me a friend request proves that you're a sweetheart. I wasn't ghosting you either. I just didn't have anything else to add to that conversation, so I decided to start a new one today. I have looked into it, but I'm not sophisticated with hacks, so as soon I can find a guide on how to hack it or play it or whatnot, I'll do that. I learned that I am fast learner though, as I was able to design my own flair without knowing a thing about CSS, so maybe I could get ROM hacks too. lol

Serenity, the No. 1 Reshiram Enjoyer! I'm doing great! Sorry we haven't spoken in a while, all this time i thought i had offended you with my little grammar oopsie last month... I assumed you were ghosting me from afar and didn't quite like me anymore, but i guess that's not the case!

Did you end up looking into Blaze Black 2 Redux? If you've played it, what are your thoughts so far?

OH! That makes a LOT more sense now lmao, i didn't read the question well enough on the first go-around :p I thought you meant the original Black 2 and you were asking me to basically guess your playstyle? Which sounds a lot more stupid when i say it like that.

Anyway, Blaze Black 2 Redux is a ROM hack of Black 2 that greatly enhances the Gen V experience. It was made by Drayano (who is mostly famous for his difficulty hacks, like Renegade Platinum and Sacred Gold/Storm Silver) and AphexCubed. I did a whole review about some of the features in the ROM hack discussion thread, but essentially, it makes all 649 pokemon catchable one way or another, most Pokemon get a type/stat/ability/movepool change, and trainers are harder. Oh, and Fairy types plus some moves from Gen 6 and beyond are added, too. It's great, you'll totally love it!

As for downloading the hack, i'm not sure if i'm allowed to provide a link, but you can get it from Drayano's ROM hack list on Google Drive. He provides a link to that on his Twitter dot com profile, which provides the patches and documentation. You also need to have a clean rom (one that isn't anti-piracy patched) of the vanilla Black 2 to patch it with. Then you can go off on your wild excursion!

I'm sorry, but there is NO way i'm ever using an eeveelution. Their movepools are WAY too shallow and don't offer enough coverage for what i need. They have incredible stats but the movepools alone kill everything. For competitive, yes, but for normal play, no. As for Drapion, i wish i was a drapion fan, but i'm usually not able to squeeze one into a team slot. Funnily enough, i used my drapion EXACTLY how you mentioned it, Sniper plus Night Slash and Cross Poison. Heck, in BB2 Redux it even gets Storm Throw, whic would be awesome if i didn't need a lot of other things for coverage :'/

And how on earth am i supposed to know how you play Black 2? Or, did you mean how i, as in me, play the game? I'm a bit confused there lmao

Hey now, Umbreon and Sylveon are pretty good! Umbreon is a good bulky disruptor, healer, and/or Baton Passer, and Pixelate Sylveon with Hyper Voice and Throat Spray, especially after copying its teammate's stat boosts with Psych Up is pretty good! Oh, you're a Drapion fan too? I love Drapion! I raised some in a good amount of my play-throughs. With it's critical hit class, Sniper ability, critical hit moves such as Cross Poison and Night Slash, and Razor Fang or Scope Lens as a held item, especially combined with the affection system in the later games that boosts critical hit ratio, Drapion is a great Pokémon for a normal play-through! By the way, how do I go about playing Pokémon Blaze Black 2, sweetheart?

I hear you, dude. I'm not much into competitive, but i do enjoy watching False Swipe Gaming for sure. He goes over how good a pokemon was in each generation according to Smogon and placements it had in VGC. I find it ludicrous that when i teambuild nowadays i try to use Pokemon i've never used before to see if they're any good. Then i actually go about using them to find out they aren't as cracked up to be as i thought, (i'm looking at you, every single eeveelution!) so then i have to RE-build my team before finally finding something that works. Pity i just couldn't fit Drapion on my guys.

On a side note, aw yeah, Black 2 superiority, baby! Who cares about some crumbly ruin when we can build an apartment complex there? Even though technically White 2 was my first ever game of all time, i like Black 2 a lot more. The futuristic feel is incredible! Oh, and Kyurem Black slaps, too.

Yeah, Serperior wasn't too great before Contrary, but Snivy was just too cute to pass up. Also, Serperior reminded me of the term "snake in the grass," but in her case, she actually was the grass too. Back then, when I played for fun for my play-throughs, I used an Action Replay code to unlock the starter Pokémon's hidden abilities. The Snivy line with Contrary was just so fun and op. I disabled the code when playing competitively though. I focus on cores sometimes too when building competitive teams. If not that, I use specific strategies, such as Baton Pass, Psych Up, and/or weather. When doing a regular play-through though, I mostly just try to focus on using Pokémon with as much coverage as possible offensively. During my regular play-through, I only limit myself to one story/box legendary, and only use it for a little while. Otherwise, I don't like using legends during normal play-throughs, but Reshiram always get special privileges. Competitively however, I use legendaries as often as I can depending on the rules. If they're allowed, it's almost impossible to reach Master Rank without them. As for ROM games, I'm willing to try it, but you have to tell me how I play them. As for the million $ ?, I prefer Black 2. I prefer Pokémon White in the first series because I love Reshiram, but I got Black 2 to get my own Zekrom as well.

That's pretty interesting! It's hilarious how much Serperior sucked until it got Contrary legally. Then it was amazing! When i build teams, usually i have my starter and then i make a grass/fire/water core around it, since those 3 types make up some good coverage. In the postgame i have something called the Rule Of Two, where i can't use more than 2 legendaries. Anything beyond that would feel cheap. If you've got an answer for everything, nothing can stop you. Heck, my TC is my Blaze Black 2 team before Redux existed! (If you haven't heard of it, that's a ROM of Black 2 where they have type/stat/moveset changes to some Pokemon, all 649 are obtainable, trainers are harder, etc. Seriously, go play it.)

But, the million dollar question should be, Black 2 or White 2? Which do you like more?

Yes sir! I love generation 5 too! I read your answer regarding your favorite generation and, regarding generation 5, we seem to have a lot in common. Generation 5 is also the gen that I started playing Pokémon with and Serperior is one of my all-time favorite starters. As for my Pokémon trainer card, yes I simply had to create one to give others an idea of what my trainer card would look like. I picked gen 5 because I identify with it the most. The team that I selected does represent my gen 5 team in a way, but they are also just a combination of my all-time favorite Pokémon that I use in each game in some fashion. I usually select the game’s starter and five other Pokémon that are my all-time favorite, which tend to be on most of my teams.

A fellow Gen V enthusiast? Sign me up!

I also see that you used the Pokecharms trainer card maker. That's pretty epic, too! Is that your team in one of the games or something?
