Yeah, I'm just gonna describe them briefly as my dad always told me to ignore it, some of my relatives have no moral fiber and couldn't care less about me and my family. I suppose I try to keep my thoughts to myself as well. I basically just smile and nod until they leave.

Oh yeah in college, responsibility becomes a big thing. I remember skipping out on showering a few times because I was busy and I felt awful right until I showered and freshened myself up.

Do you have any relatives which you force yourself to get along with? There's some who have done things I personally can't stand, yet I keep those thoughts to myself.

I've seen a variety of people already. A few who remind me of high school classmates, but the majority feel more mature.

I could grow in certain aspects. I tend to put too much focus on one thing, and neglect others. Such as getting caught up on homework, I began neglecting laundry. Then finding one morning I had nothing to wear.

Ah. I enjoy seeing my parents but that's about it. The extended family, my parent's friends, all suck.

I guess college has a more mature environment, and are willing to help if you ask, but personally a lot of them still seem immature in my experience.

Christmas is the only holiday I'm looking forward to. Not Thanksgiving, because similar to you, there's relatives I don't care about seeing. But during Christmas, I see the relatives I care about, which are my older siblings.

The people in college are nicer. High School sometimes seemed like a contest of who could be the biggest douche. The majority of my friends in high school are also those I no longer want to associate with.

Yeah the post Christmas New Years feeling sucks cause you gotta go back to school/work with no holiday for a while. Although I'm excited for the holidays, I dread seeing some of my crappy relatives.

College can be hard to form solid friendships. I remember being repeatedly told by students, my parents and some others that connections are very important in college cause that one connection might land you a job

It's nice, but there's a sense of disappointment when it's over. The entire build up, then the day comes to an end along with the atmosphere. It's better around Halloween, because there's other special days ahead, such as Christmas and New Years.

Funny enough, I'm not even old, but I already find myself starting to dread birthdays.

My grades are fluctuating in two classes, but I'm having high success in one. I speak with people, but don't know if there's actually anyone I consider a friend right now.

Thanks. The holiday atmosphere is nice, worth the year long build up

How is your semester going? Made any friends?

We don't live in a good spot for handing out candy either. I would love to, but we've never lived anywhere that makes it possible.

I wouldn't say you've missed too much. It's fun knocking on the doors, but you can really just get your own candy with one stop at a store.

Regardless, I hope you enjoy tomorrow anyway. My favorite part is never Halloween, but the atmosphere leading up. It's a similar feeling around Christmas.

Nah I live in an apartment so no trick or treating for me. Which also means I don't have to hand out candy. Funny thing is I've never went trick or treating in my entire life.

My mother has a birthday on Halloween, so I'll do something with her. I'll also dress up, even if it means my costume will be put together at the last minute.

    Are you doing anything?

I did notice you left for a while, but I'm glad to see your okay.

I'm alright though. Sometimes the amount of work is stressful, but I'm learning to manage my time.

The work is getting heavier, with exams and everything. It's not like high school, where I can get by without studying. Especially since I'm now putting in the effort for better grades, where as before I was satisfied as with any passing grade.

Hey thanks for replying. I've been away for 4-5 weeks dealing with some personal issues but I'm back.

How have you been? Dealing with all those mid-terms?

I think you accidentally posted the reply to your own profile, but that's okay, I'll respond here.

I'm actually considering transferring to a university, however, I'm quite unsure. It'll largely depend on my major.

If you were to write, it would most likely be interesting. It's always interesting learning about someone, I've found books are some of the greatest ways to do so. I'm not even much of a reader, but I've learned much from certain biographies.

Regarding my professors, it's different from high school. I've felt invisible, for the most part.

I might transfer to a university, but for personal reasons I'm temporally committing to a community college.

It's been difficult for me deciding a major. I have volunteer experience, so it helps knowing which areas I enjoy working in.

But no, I can't return the book sadly. There was even a note about that on the receipt.

I do think the book is an interesting idea. If you were ever to write someday, I would purchase it. My only experience with story telling is from comics I drew in my spare time.
