Yeah, I went a fairly big university, hated walking around in the heat. I majored in biochemistry. Fat lot of good that did. TBH I still don't know what I want to do with my life. I'd like to write a book though.

You should pick a major that you enjoy. But also consider if it will land you a decent paying job. Also that sucks, college can be such a rip off, can you return the book?.

It's especially draining when you do something stupid like I did, and purchase a wrong $180 text book.

It's a bit early, my thoughts on the classes could change. Currently I'm enjoying one class, but not so much the other two.

Out of curiosity, did you attend college? I'm just interested to know what you majored in, or would major in.

That's good. College is a good place to figure out what to do next with your life. Pretty draining on the money though. You enjoying your classes so far?

    I catch a bus.

Really, I was never ready to leave high school. I had no idea where I was going, and I didn't want to start a job I would dislike. College is probably the best decision. There's still some familiarity of being in a classroom, and I plan to have my major decided within a few months. I can then build towards it.

Taking morning classes I see. Do you commute as well?

Yeah, I felt after high school, no one tells you what to do so everything seems aimless sometimes. Glad you're feeling a sense of direction.

Honestly, it's tiring. The work comes so quickly, and I'm trying to find a way to balance studying with the homework. I'm also having to get up at 5:00 in the morning.

I'm happy that I decided on college though, because I finally feel like I have a sense of direction.

Even the public schools here don't start until September.

I'm only starting with 3 classes. I might look for part time work, depending on how well I can manage the classes.

I'm still undecided about what I want to major in. I'm considering speaking with an adviser.

I'm only taking the required classes for now, which don't start until another month.

    I appreciate you asking.

Summer has been okay for me, I hope it is for you also. College is completely new to me, but it'll be fine when I adjust to the scheduling and everything.
