I do have a 3DS, and you're more than welcome to. And I don't need any shinies as of currently.

If you have a 3ds we could hang out and battle sometime if you want. I could make you any character/shiny or not if you want me to.

I've pretty much been not working on anything, just sitting around doing next to nothing.

So what are you working on now then, if you are stuck in the black and white/ diamond/pearl hacking; are you working on a Gameboy advance game, or something else?

If I had the incentive to practice programming, I would've been able to do so much. But since I lack the incentive to do it (and the same thing with editing models too), there's very little I can do to help ROM hacking progress to further generations.

That is actually pretty neat. I am the same way @programming. It all comes down to that, if you don't know it, you are toast. I know a little bit of c, BASIC, and some vb, but this stuff is so advanced...I don't know how people make all of these tools xp

If I knew programming, I'm sure I would've done a lot of research into how the maps work. There's a few maps in Lumiose City that are the only maps in the sixth generation that actually use Mode 7 (Third-Person view).

I think its going to be a while before a good 3d map editor for omega/alpha/x/y comes out. Text editing is simple, trainer editing seems simple, but it always comes down to map editing.

I'd actually like to see customized storylines in the sixth generation games, rather than just randomizers. But at least we're seeing some progress in the 3DS ROM hacks.

It is pretty ironic. I was talking to someone about that the other day. They also have a trainer randomizer for x/y alpha/omega.

I remember! And I could try, however my memory is quite rusted from not doing anything on researching the data in fifth generation games. And that's fantastic that there's someone who's really interested in fourth generation hacking, I'd love to help. 'Cause certainly most of the tools needed are already there and we're kinda stuck in the past since little to no hacks have appeared for fourth generation, fifth generation or even sixth generation. And yet, there's already tools available to change the models in the sixth generation games as well, in which also haven't been used.

Platinum Lucario, I don't know if you remember me or not, but I kinda worked with you a while back on diamond and pearl hacking. However, at the time there wasn't very much technology/tools that we could use to our advantage.

Anyways I gave your name to a person who wants to hack gen 4. If you could help him, that would be great.

    Thanks
