I don't even remember what happened that day, hahaha.

I was looking at old posts and ran across this. Hahahahahahahahaha!

I might consider blogging (although it might have to get posted tomorrow, as technically there's a rule not to post two blogs in a day and I already have, lol). I'll also debating posting it to my Twitter; quite a bit of my followers are from PC.

Maybe I'm just being slow then... -_-

I agree that putting ANOTHER sticky is less than desirable. Maybe blogging that POTW is open? I'm guessing a well-timed advertising post could bring in the numbers.

    I didn't just edit the thread. I posted in it. Twice, actually; I extended voting a day because voting turnout was awful. It should've come up bold on two different days. @___@;

I'd rather avoid putting another sticky if absolutely possible, because it seemed to be a concern that popped up during discussion.

What I mean is just a new thread each week, that'll get unstickied/deleted upon voting closure. I didn't know voting had started because you just edited the thread without drawing attention to it (i.e. it wasn't bold again, so I didn't think anything had changed). Just a suggestion, though.

I'm not so sure. I'm already posting the new voting in a sticky. I don't really see how much a new thread would help?

I might try a large all-caps title in the voting thread, though. Maybe it would be more noticeable? Hmmm.

Maybe a new sticky each time voting opens? Just to drive awareness up, really... only thing I can think of.

Yeah, I'm not exactly sure how to work on that. :x I didn't really get a lot of votes compared to last time. I guess people don't look at stickies. </3

I might make an announcement for next week's voting (which will be up tomorrow -- or rather, today after I sleep) and state that I'll PM people the voting if it makes it easier to see.

My poll became POTW? Awesome! Didn't know voting was back up, though.

Used to be an mod/s-mod/Assistant Admin. I can't remember if he was on staff when you were; he was for awhile when I was iirc but not for that long. He used the name Bobby for awhile, his current account is The Fallen, but idk what other names he had. He spammed OVP really bad for awhile (I think this was back when he was a member but it might've been when he was mod).

...and he modded OVP at one point. >_<

    ... who's Bobby? o_O

I've finished the bulk of the blog post; it just needs proofing and stuff. You're mentioned, actually! Will probably go live in a few hours time. Need to eat/get some fresh air/take the dog out for a walk.

You can thank Bobby for that one. Him and his spamming. >_< Thankfully we haven't had a poll limit in a long time. In fact, these days, I've seen people post like 10 polls in a day and as long as they're all decent polls I don't care. Activity is activity.

OOOH, I love PC nostalgia blogs! :D *eagerly waits*

I love how an old rule was 'ONLY ONE POLL PER DAY!' And there was reputation as well... god, that was such a carry on! I'd completely forgotten about it until I read that again!

I'm doing a blog post about PC nostalgia that I think you'd enjoy. Should be up later tonight.

    Sammi :)

Thanks! My last rules thread wasn't nearly as pretty. It was formatted more like yours, actually.
