Yes they did. I got bullied and harassed over my ranting on how much SJWs ruined pop culture and made once great franchises into complete garbage, and that kids will be corrupted by the political statements being shoved in their faces.

If I ever return, I'll have to use a completely new username because of mass blockings towards me and that it's completely damaged my reputation. Also, if Net Neutrality gets killed, then I'm quitting this forum.

I see you deleted your Twitter. (Guess those SJWs that dominate that platform finally got to you, given your final screen name you used there before the deletion, eh?)

Yes, someone who agrees that the Sun & Moon series is a Yo-Kai Watch ripoff!

You know, if the Pokémon anime was so stale during X/Y (and XYZ), I think we would have been better off if Ash had been replaced for Sun/Moon instead of that region's arc being turned into a bad clone of Yo-kai Watch while making Ash resemble Steven Universe with the new art style (which also somewhat resembles that of the Y-kW anime). I've seen fanart of Ash in his S/M outfit on DeviantArt drawn to resemble the previous art style used through XYZ, and, needless to say, I think such artwork looks better than the overhauled look presented in the anime.

I definitely agree. Popplio is the cutest thing to come out of Alola.

Despite my less-than-favourable opinion of Sun/Moon as games, I will say that Popplio is one of the most adorable starter Pokémon from any region.

Thank you so much! It's hard for me to believe that I'm about to hit the big 3-0 as well. At times, I still think that I'm in my late teens/early 20s.

Happy birthday Mii-kun! Can't believe you'll be hitting your 30s this time next year.

I've seen many fanart works of Oshawott and Popplio together on DeivantArt. Typically, these involve Oshawott (or one of its evolutions) consoling Popplio by saying Oshawott was hated back in its day also.

I can imagine that much of Greninja's popularity is probably due to Ash-Greninja-it's gotten to the point where that particular form is showcased in the Sun/Moon demo.

Popplio is what I view as the Oshawott of this generation, where it was hated so much but got redemption come final evolution reveal, even if some claim Samurott wasn't a natural transition.

In fact the Alola starters remind me so much of Unova's - the Grass-type was the most popular upon initial reveal and stayed as the most popular after final evos (I did hear some people saying Serperior was the only Unova final evo they liked), the Fire-type was moderately liked but got its fanbase ruined by its final evo, while the Water-type was hated by literally the whole fandom and only got its reputation saved by an awesome final evo.

Some could say this was the case for Kalos as well, but Fennekin (Fire) was initial most popular and its fanbase dwindled a lot upon the reveal of Delphox, whereas Quilladin was what killed most of Chespin's fanbase. In fact the only one who had the evos everyone loved was Froakie, and it was proven three years later thanks to Greninja being voted Japan's favorite Pokemon. Greninja had pretty much reached Charizard-level ranks of popularity in those three years since X/Y's release.

Am I the only one who's getting this feeling that Litten is being hyped up like Charmander/Charmeleon/Charizard was back in Generation I? I'm still planning on choosing Popplio once I get Sun or Moon, but there's so much saltiness over the Water starter and its evolutions.

The new art style looks more Yo-Kai Watch-esque to me, and I have to admit Yo-Kai never grew on me even after watching a few of the English dubbed episodes of that series. Ash's new design does kinda remind me of Steven from Steven Universe as well, notably the hair.

I can understand about the upcoming Sun/Moon anime being considered bad because of the new art style, which looks to me that it bears an uncanny resemblance to the Yo-Kai Watch anime and Steven Universe, and am also just as concerned about yet another complete reset of Ash because of him going to school. Not to mention that of course, everybody's all sore about Serena not joining Ash in Alola (a perennial pattern that I think has become stale.)

I actually don't mind the changes because Game Freak are experimenting with new formulas. The Sun & Moon anime will definitely be a flop for me since I don't like how stupidly drawn Ash's face is, and the possibility he's going to do another complete reset like in Unova.

You know, I've been getting kind of concerned at times that Pokémon Sun/Moon will end up flopping, a la Microsoft Bob and Windows 8, given how everybody's all upset about the changes in gameplay.
