Congrats on your Pikachu! :3 My sister has a shiny Pichu in her Crystal game. Ugh I had to clean my room and run the vacuum because we are having people over on Saturday. I hope I did a good enough job, or my Mom will go INSANE! Not a fun experience.

    So whatchu been up to?

I suppose that's right. I'd probably want to buy both the games, or atleast be able to play one of them from borrowing it or something. Noone I know has it yet though. I'll just wait to get it. That sounds like a better idea, also spending time with your Pokemon may help you think of a better suited name maybe. Oh, so in Yellow you collect them over a short period of time? I thought you meant that you got them all at the very start. :)

Actually, I was really surprised, today I gave my Pichu it's second Protein, leveled it up once and it evolved. I wasn't expecting it AT ALL, especially since I was reading up on how to make it easier and lots of people were mentioning tons of things to do which I hadn't even tried yet. I only kept it in my party for the two days I've had it and gave it two proteins, used it in a couple of battles and it evolved on it's next level up. .__.

    Indeedy I do~! ^^

Don't change your mind based on the like 3 triple battles you actualy get to fight. The city is good for training and collecting items, and the forest is good for getting Pokemon from other regions, but none of them are that great in my opinion and they all start at low levels.. I only nickname Pokemon I feel deserve a nickname, like if they have done a good job, they've been with me for a while, or I really like them. As fo rPokemon yellow, you should be able to get all of them before the 4th Gym badge.

As for items that call help you for your Pichu, there are certain berries that raise happiness but lower EV's, and there is one bell item that your Pokemon holds to get happiness quicker.

And there probably is an estimated amount of days, but I'm too lazy to snoop around. xD

And you live in England!? I could tell from the way you spelled favorite as favourite. (And your location. :D )

I've watched some reviews, and a lot of them have been good on Black's part but more negative on Pokemon White. I was first going to get Black (since I liked the idea of the city) but changed my mind when I heard the way of battling is better on White? since your pokemon can switch between attacking the foe's pokemon rather than having to stick to the one opposite, or something along those lines (finding it hard to explain >_<).
I know what you mean too! I like how your Pokemon can follow in Soulsilver too, just seems better that you can check up on how they feel rather than just having them in their pokeballs unless their fighting, there's no way of having the slightest bit of communication at all other than when you're commanding them.
xD Do you nickname your Pokemon? :) You get all of them at the beginning?! :o pretty neato. I REALLY want a Pikachu! I traded with my brother for some of my favourite Pokemon, he didn't want to get rid of his Pikachu so he gave me one of his Pichu's instead. I'm working on evolving it, it just has to stay really happy for a certain about of time, right? I hope it's not too long, isn't there also items that you can gave it to help? ^^
I think I'll do that actually, I think I'd rather wait. Is there any estimated dates for Gray yet?

I own Black, and I've played White. The reason I don't like them is because they go WAY too fast, and then there is like NOTHING to do afterwards. The Battle Subway is God-awful. And all that leaves is Black City and the Stadiums which have over leveled but weak stat Pokemon. On the other hand, the legendaries are cool, and the Pokemon are pretty decent. And the graphics are really good. But it's way too gimicky and not enough content. Team Plasma was a joke, but is the most serious of all the Teams so far. I can't be everyone's opnion so you'll just have to research and see if you like it. I also miss my Pokemon following me, xD.

Back when I started sapphire I had a Treeko named Sam and 5 little Wurmples, and then I wondered why the first gym was so hard. Even with my Treeko, which was underleveled.

And Yellow is pretty good. You get all the Kanto starters + Pikachu in that game.

I'd keep saving, and when 6th gen, or Gray comes out you could get that, and hopefully they are better than B/W.

    And you're welcome. :D

Platinum was one of the games I was considering to get rather than Soulsilver, along with White. Have you played both Black and White? And any reason why you didn't overly like 'em? Or you just prefer the earlier games? Gahh, I wanna' play Yellow! I have the feeling the most earlier games have gotta' be the best ones.
So Sapphire started off the craze for Pokemon games? :)
I was planning on getting it eventually, you think I should just leave it and wait? that'd be fine, I need more reasons not to get it actually since I really shouldn't have gotten Soulsilver considering I've got things going on soon that I have to save money for, I just couldn't help it and I really don't regret it at the moment! :D

Thanks for the friend request too!

Hmm my favorite Pokemon game is going to have to be Platinum. But Soulsilver is a close second. I didn't like Black and White very much.. Since I figured out how to emulate gameboy color games and gameboy games on my DS Lite, I've been playing the old games like Pokemon Pikachu Edition(Yellow) and Pokemon Crystal. They are epic, even with no nostalgia glasses xD..

The first game I ever played was Sapphire which my cousin gave to me.

So are you planning to get B/W? I'd wait until Gray, or 6th gen comes out, B/W just aren't that good imo. Could be that I miss Battle Frontier, which is in Soulsilver BTW.

Hello! Indeed you are right, it makes these forums much better when you have someone to talk to, so thank you for being the first to message me! :D And ofcourse, new friends are always welcome! Ohh, Soulsilver? I love it! I'm new to the whole game side of Pokemon (only played Pearl other than Soulsilver) but I find this to be my favourite from the two, I love how it's reminding me of some Pokemon I happened to forget about. It's extremely nostalgic and just like when I was a kid, I'm back to loving Pokemon because of it. ^=^

How about you though, which is your favourite Pokegame?
