February 12th, 2010 3:34 PMshinyexploudi just realized that the poke i sent rnc was hatched, so i think that was the reason
-
February 12th, 2010 3:28 PMTwilightBladeAh, congrats! And recheck the SID. :)
-
February 12th, 2010 3:23 PMshinyexploudyea, i think my plat SID is wrong, i checked it twice wit shiny eggs, and didnt work even though the taps were low. i calculated my diamond's SID though and got a shiny egg the first try, took 603 double taps though
-
February 11th, 2010 8:46 PMTwilightBladeYes, catch either:
1-2 random encounter shiny
3-5 chained shinies
Then, follow the instructions in this video for the random shiny or two.
For chained shinies, there is an applet on the RNG Reporter. I could help with that once you chain. -
February 11th, 2010 8:33 PMshinyexploudtru, ill hav to start chaining. how do i find my SID for a random encounter shiny though, cuz my diamond has one
-
February 11th, 2010 8:14 PMTwilightBladeHatched shiny does not work, I'm afraid... D:
Chain Shinx? -
February 11th, 2010 8:10 PMshinyexploudwell, is there a way to check my SID wit a hatched shiny? i havnt had a random encounter shiny in my plat yet
-
February 11th, 2010 8:06 PMTwilightBladeYeah, if the captured Heatran's nature, gender, and IVs matched up with the one on the RNG Reporter (which says !!! Shiny, correct?), then your SID is wrong. Ask RNC to check it again. D:
-
February 11th, 2010 8:01 PMshinyexploudRNC got my SID for me, i traded her a pokemon, and i think she used AR. shud the pokemon have been shiny?
-
February 11th, 2010 7:51 PMTwilightBladeThen you must have an incorrect SID/ID. How did you find your SID?
Type them in the red boxes. -
February 11th, 2010 7:44 PMshinyexploudwell i actually found a spread wit a delay of 603, i got the correct coin flips once though, and the heatran was still not shiny, but the nature was correct. cud that be my timing then?
-
February 11th, 2010 6:58 PMTwilightBladeYes, that is right. As the year increase, the delay decreases (excuse me for saying target delay, I meant change your actual delay, as targets are universal and static within the games, lol). Right, right.
However, if you are hitting an odd delay of 603, add those years and fix that GBA slot to get an even delay...
If a GBA game has been inserted all this time, now take it out.
If your GBA slot has been empty all this time, insert a game. ^^ -
February 11th, 2010 6:38 PMshinyexploudwell i read in a tutorial that if ur delay is consistently off, say its 603 wen ur target is 610, then adding 7 yrs will change the target delay to 603
-
February 11th, 2010 5:56 PMTwilightBladeWell, inserting or taking out a GBA game in the GBA slot changes the delay to odd and even. Just take note of this (it is different for every game) and keep it consistent (game in or out). :(
595 to 613 is a decent range, although my range is 598 to 604... Just press your A button faster. There is no remedy to improve your delay, as you are dealing with fractions of seconds. D:!
Why are you adjusting the year? That changes your target delay, aaa. -
February 11th, 2010 5:09 PMshinyexploudwell, im able to consistently hit 14 sec, but my delay is somewhat erratic. my range is from 595 to 613, although it tends to be on the lower side. as wit the heatran, it was originally at 610, but id check the delay trend and adjust the yr every ten tries or so, but wont work
