Hello ^-^. I have beeb mostly good but also crazy busy. I have a violin recital coming in November so I have been practicing non-stop since my winter vacation. I'm very excited but very nervous at the same time ^^;

How have you been lately?

In my case, work and college have almost caused me to fall apart. Fortunately, it's only going to be a temporary thing.

It was introduction to computer systems, something I thought I could handle effortlessly.

What kind of subject? 0: I see the classes my brother take and it's a bunch of stuff I didn't even know that existed ^-^;

All is well, do not feel guilt.

I didn't respond yesterday because...well, I was in the process of recovering from the final exam.

Fixing broken clothes is a much safer, and simpler task. :P

With the original Xbox (the one in the top pic), you couldn't fix the error where the ring would stay red and the console wouldn't respond to anything. If the hardware broke, your Xbox was screwed. XP

As for the Xbox 360, most of the time you could fix the red ring of death if you knew what to do. The error with the three flashing red lights usually meant the power supply was bad, or a part had been detached due to overheating.

What people could do was open their Xbox 360, and replace the materials that held the parts in place. The problem was that this was very hard to do, and pretty time consuming as well. Plus, it was also very dangerous. XP

Oh I heard about that red ring but what I remember is that if you got it you couldn't fix it? Luckily our Xbox never had that problem even though it was abused ^-^;;

The original Xbox and the Xbox 360 suffered from hardware failure, and to indicate something was wrong, they displayed "the red ring of death".

It looks like you have a lot of common with brothers hahaha. They built their own PCs but I don't think they wanted them for gaming. I also remember they opened our Wii to put some chip on it but I was really young when that happened. What problem did those Xbox have?
