September 7th, 2022 11:12 AMRoniWell well well, looks like you and I share that "trouble holding conversations" trait nowadays haha. Online convos, online friends, online relationships, etc. They've been very hard to keep recently, even though I basically live online at this point. Life's been getting so much busier and harder the older I've been getting, which is why I sometimes wish I got into this community during my younger high school/college days. I would've been way more cringe, but def a lot more active haha.
Anyhow, regardless of all that, I make sure to never forget a conversation, no matter how small. Especially if it's one with you :D Better late than never indeed~ Listening right now to that video you sent. Freddie just... knew how to sing didn't he? As in, he just... knew <3 -
August 7th, 2022 11:35 AMVisionofMiloticWell hello there Roni! I'm really happy that you visited me, because our talks are magic, and you are one seriously cool, funny and chill soul that I can relax and laugh along with while watching old reruns of Friends and rocking out to Queen songs. Seeing you online is one the things that makes the forum feel like home. You make me smile in so many ways, and I am sorry that I fell out of touch with you, and much more so that I made you worry that you had done something wrong. It's all on me.
You've got me there, I sometimes have trouble holding conversations overtime. l take little breaks because I'm antsy, but then that leads to other problems, since I have no sense of time management either. Often I'll read wonderful comments like yours, be excited and think about how to respond, but then because of how badly I multi-tasked time will have flown by before I realize how long it's been, then I get anxious and don't reply, because I feel like it's been so long that nobody will remember what I'm even talking about. But this greetings from you is a good reminder to me that late is better than never, and I'm glad for this chance to reconnect with an old friend. I'd love to catch up once and for all! How are you doing these days?
Sending you a classic song for your weekend enjoyment as a homecoming present from me to you.

August 4th, 2022 6:12 AMRoniOh hey VoM, sorry if this is quite random, but I just remembered you posted something weeks ago (or was it months ago? I'm not good with measuring time passage) where you explained how you sometimes just randomly abandon convos because you get fatigued from keeping them up every now and then? Just wanna say thanks for bringing me closure as to why you suddenly didn't reply anymore to those old convos we sorta had about Queen and whatever heh.
Just thought it was something I said that creeped you out, and it kinda bugged me for a while trying to figure out what I said wrong. Anyway I really appreciate knowing this about you. No need to reply or anything, just wanted to get this out there. Have a good one~ -

March 2nd, 2021 5:50 AMRoniSam! i'm loving your cool new flair! i believe that' something you got as a gift from the 2020 Secret Santa Event? i know this because (well i don't know if you already know lol) Zach accidentally sent that gift over to me by mistake, and I was real close to inputting it til he corrected himself lol. it doesn't fit my aesthetic, but it looks so good on you <3

January 5th, 2021 6:25 AMRoniThank you Sam! Had been on the fence for a long while, and sorta regretted being too scared to apply the last time PC was open for mod apps, ans and I thought I wouldn't have a chance for another couple months or years.
So I was really surprised when you guys reached out earlier! Can't believe you guys have been considering me all this time T-T I'm soft.
I'mma do my best to be a responsible mod that people can respect, while also not losing my fun side!
Can't wait to read your long and fun reply either! Conversations with you are pretty dope. I'll keep an eye out for it :D -
January 5th, 2021 6:01 AMVisionofMiloticThis isn't a proper response to your last message. I will write back something long and more fun soon. I just want say congratulations to you Roni! You will make a wonderful mod. We have been hoping you would like to become part of the team for awhile. There couldn't be a better pick than you! I'm so excited right now :D

December 30th, 2020 10:10 AMRoniwishing you an advanced happy new year Sam! i wasn't able to reply to your message when i first saw it because i was over at my gf's place and my phone isn't a conducive medium to type out longer messages like what this is about to be eheh. i've forgotten about it since then and just saw this again now when i was redesigning my profile. so sorry!
anyhow, yessir Matthew Perry was literally the perfect guy to portray Chandler. the fact that a lot of his jokes were off script made me respect him more; he was indeed a natural in comedy. so glad he and Monica got the happy family they rightfully deserved <3
Joey's really good too. i really wasn't of him being the womanizer he was, but the show never failed to show his good side. he's just a caring dude who isn't the sharpest one on the block. i will comment that i wish they didn't flanderize him in the later seasons to be excessively stupid just for the sake of a couple jokes, but nevertheless it doesn't stop me from loving him.
every line of the theme is so iconic i totally sung every line of what you wrote in my mind lmao. it truly hasn't been our year, but we're looking forward to a more positive 2021 at the very least :D ugh imagine if they went with the other song they originally had before this one. yech... (EDIT - LINK to it if you haven't heard it yet. it's back when the show was still called "Friends Like Us". to me it just sounds like an extended play of the music that plays in between scene transitions lol)
ah yeah i was wondering why you never replied to that. i was afraid i offended you eheh. but yeah it's great to listen to, but it'll never be my fave Queen song. not even because of how mainstream it is, but because, well, i just like the structure & sound of other songs of theirs better. i haven't yet listened to I'm Going Slightly Mad, but you've convinced me to give it a go! Freddie's lower range is underrated and i need more of it. (EDIT - just gave it a listen! i don't know what it is, but Queen really has some signature "chords" in their progressions that really makes it sound uniquely like them. and i'm such a fan of Freddie's ad libs; his "oh dears" really add that playful vibe to an otherwise serious sounding 80s beat. i think this is the first Queen song i've heard where Mercury's vocal chords actually stayed calm til the end of the song lol they must have thanked the heavens during the recordings for these).
belated merry christmas (i never got to greet you i realize T-T), and advanced happy new year once again! all the best! -
December 24th, 2020 8:38 PMVisionofMiloticGood taste! Great minds think alike! Friends is a classic. Matthew Perry might have the best comedic timing of all the cast, the sarcasm and mimicry was on point. Also his relationship with Monica was written the best of all the friends. So I know why he's the fan favorite.
My personal favorite friend is actually Joey though. I like my sweet, silly oaf. I think he was the most good-looking of the dudes, and while he is a bit of a player in the world of dating, he's so affectionate and loyal as a friend, like your brother.
I also chose the Friends opening theme as my song because this 2020 it's especially easy to identify with the those lines, "It's like your always stuck in second gear. When it hasn't been your day, your week, your month or even your year."
Speaking of songs this reminds me that I never wrote you a proper response to that great message you left on my profile awhile back. I have never minded a little controversy, while I like Bohemian Rhapsody I admire someone who is willing to go against the grain. You have picked some rock solid songs like We Will Rock You and Killer Queen, these are great.
Ever tried I'm Going Slightly Mad? I just love the goofy lyrics, it's like something out of the world of Lewis Carrol, and I think Freddie Mercury's voice is quite seductive in this lower register.
Anyway, I also stopped by because I want to wish you a very Merry Christmas my friend. All good things your way!

December 23rd, 2020 5:05 AMRoniglad to see someone else likes Friends! a lot of irl friends feel like they're "too cool" for that show, but me and my gf absolutely loved it. fave character for me is chandler for his character growth and ending up with one of the most stable relationships by the end :D

December 1st, 2020 7:53 AMRonihey ho! i wouldn't even consider it a change; more like a shortening hehe. i figured a lot of people are already calling me this, so why not just simplify my profile name to be it y'know :p
the design changes came from pure impulse tho -
December 1st, 2020 7:30 AMVisionofMiloticI see that you have changed your name, but you don't fool me. You're still my favorite Crobat :)

July 24th, 2020 10:26 PMRoniWouldn't have ever expected you to be such a Queen fan! Controversy for sure, but I never really liked Bohemian Rhapsody all that much. It's complex and iconic and all, but no matter how many times I listen to it, I can never absolutely love it. It's a great song, but it can't ever be my favorite.
Haven't actually listened to too many Queen songs tbh, so I haven't taken a gander at Who Wants to Live Forever (all apologies), but some of my absolute faves are Killer Queen, Don't Stop Me Now, We are the Champions, We Will Rock You, I Want to Break Free, and Radio Gaga. Killer Queen just oozes their signature style, and the way they say she's a killer queeEEN GUNPOWDER GELATIN never fails to make me go wild. Don't Stop Me Now I love for its breakneck pace, We are the Champions for perfectly encapsulating the feeling of victory into a song, We Will Rock You for its guitar solo, I Want to Break Free for its beat and message, and Radio Gaga for its electro-ness.
I love when musical geniuses come together and make magic.
