It definitely is! Popplio is also really cute, it just gets a lot of unnecessary hate.

I'll probably use Rowlet as well. It is the cutest one out of the bunch in my opinion. ^^

For me it depends. I've always liked Bulbasaur and Chikorita, but, for example, in the Sinnoh games, I go with Piplup. But for the upcoming Sun and Moon games, I'm probably going to use Rowlet. :3

My favorite starter from that gen (and my second most favorite Pokemon of all time) is Chikorita. ^^

Other generations, I usually prefer the grass starter with an exception to Kalos in which I preferred Fenniken.
