Oh, i did something like that when i was in high school. learning how to use niche programs like audacity and dreamweaver. we would have been able to finish it too if the teacher knew what he was doing xD

Well high school computer science is more like how to use the more obscure programs and web design stuff. HTML is involved.

Yea, i know i should have picked sociology. but i didn't really know what it was or that the college taught it xD and me too, i wanna teach high school ICT :) seemed to do enough of it when i was in highschool so why not do it when im older x]

Right. I don't care what is happening inside their brains, because that isn't going to help me actually understand how to work with them. Knowing why isn't as important as knowing how to work with a crying teenager.
I'd say sociology would actually be better for teaching. I plan on going for teaching high school writing classes or math, or being a school social worker.

So, is what you study like what people think and feel? not what is scientifically proven to be happening to them? am confused >.<
And so could i, its just getting an A level in psychology is suppose to help in getting a job in teaching :P

See, sociology is a branch of psychology. The classroom Psychology stuff is majorly rooted in the scientific, which is not really encompassing all its factors.
Mehh. I can do that on my own, I don't need to take a class for it.

What you just described sounded a little bit like sociology "/ But to be honest i never really understood that either xD
To bad, psychology is actually quite interesting, well some parts. when we study other people's experiments and what they believed it quite amusing x]

Psychology is based more in the scientific than the actual analysis of people and culture.

And my school doesn't offer that anyway.
