Arise! Reborn! Adventures never really end - Turn back time and right the wrong With prism bells and forest song Stand! Reborn! On open roads, the sunset calls me - Partnered evolution And frozen retribution...
That's the "refrain" bit. There's a coda part at the end, where the tune changes from the "action and awesome" sound of a minor key to a "warmer" major key, and a few verses at the beginning which is sort of "Gold rambling about stuff and trying to sound cool."
Iunno. There are some parts that are very synced in with the images (lines 3/4/7/8 up there) and some completely random parts. All up to you, though, I stop once the song is done. xD
Ohjeez, I'm going to need to find someone to sing this...
-sigh- I'm still convinced that this fan-OP is going to be cheesy as all crap.
Anywho, the title is set in stone as "Reborn", it failed at being unconnected to the actual saga, it retains as much attachment as the typical Pokemon anime OP. Lyrics are sorta-kinda meant to be sung by Gold. Still working on the test MIDI, which will have the lyric melody and pieces of the instrumental tune (to establish rhythm/timing/such.)
As far as graphics go, I imagined it with a heavier emphasis on the Three Beasts and Gold's (peripheral?) journey, with Mask of Ice showing up like once. Buuuut that'll all be up to you when you eventually hear it.
...Personally, I think it rings of those Shaman King/Tokyo Underground OPs. The melody is similar if put into a different key, and that bugs me. >/<
The reason why I want to bring this up with you is because...I was serious when I said I wanted to learn how to animate. I've been researching programs, reading reviews, getting free trial versions...But the earliest I'll be able to get one is Christmas (mainly because I'm practically broke. *Holds out empty wallet). After that, I think I'll spend a while practicing little things, like screen shots and such, and next year I plan to take Computer Graphics. So there's no real rush (not like there was any to begin with, anyway. XD)
I'm...not actually experienced in writing songs, but I've taken piano for seven years, and I'm always humming stuff to myself, sooo...-laughs- I'm also taking Electronic Music this semester, so I could use one of these songs as a project for the class.
The FRLG opening that I have in-progress is all about the past and the future, since, y'know, timeskip and all that. -shrugs- Am I the only one~ Who won't forget the days we left behind~? Are we forgotten now~ as echoes of the stories we believed~?
The above lyrics are subject to change at literally any time.
