September 14th, 2009 12:55 PMAn-chan*gasp* Stalking!
Besides, you might not be able to tell from this, but I'm not actually back yet xD I'm studying English right now, but this goes really well with studying English, so I'm giving myself some leash. I'm glad to hear you missed me, too, though :') -
September 12th, 2009 7:58 PMAstinusD'aw, missed you too.

August 6th, 2009 1:30 AMAn-chanAaaaah.... It was so awesome, I didn't want to come back home at all =D I'd link you to my travel blog, but it's in Finnish so it wouldn't do you much good. So, I'll try to tell you as much as I can... Well, I mostly stayed in Osaka, but I also visited other cities like Hiroshima (it was actually a really cool city), Tokyo, Kyoto and Nara. I can't really describe it all very well, but it was seriously awesome to visit cities that actually have almost as much population as my home country xD Well, except in the case of Tokyo, which has about five times the population of my country, but it was a bit too big to grasp in a short time anyway. I really, really loved it there: the food tasted good, the people were friendly (especially old ladies in shops and restaurants... We were a bit confused about what to do, so they guided us with their adamant attitudes and the two words of English they knew. A good thing I speak Japanese =D) and most of the places were just simply something else. I especially liked the temples there. It's amazing how you can turn from a street with heavy traffic and SNAP! you're in a quiet temple and can't hear most of the cars anymore. And when you walk through the wooden, incense-scented temple area and come out on the other side, the street there is full of colourful shops with one or two people yelling their best bargains out loud in front of the shop.
It was really exotic for me, since I normally live in a small, northern country where people rarely say anything to people they don't know, including clerks in shops and so on. Thus, nothing in Japan was a letdown for me, I had only positive surprises while I was in there.
If there's anything specific you'd like to know, ask me. I don't really know which bits would interest you the most, so I was kind of vague here... But, yeah, go ahead and ask, because I really like talking about my trip. I wonder why? xD
P.S. While we were in there, I made my fiancée read Ender's Game. He loved it. I still don't get why the Finnish front cover has a picture of a hand on it, though. -
August 6th, 2009 1:07 AMAstinusHow was your trip? I want to hear all about it.

April 28th, 2009 8:11 AMAn-chanGo ahead. I don't recognize Aurincha as my name yet anyway, so really, go ahead. I just had to change it... I don't want to share my name with a slang word for men and a spa resort in Thailand anymore. On a side note, I totally have to visit the Anchan spa resort at least once in my life.
By the way, I'm totally addicted to Sims legacies now. I don't really know if I should thank you or hate you xD But I'm going to thank you, because most of them are so hilarious they've extended my life for some extra hours. -
April 28th, 2009 1:54 AMAstinusI'm still calling you An-chan. Nyah.

March 8th, 2009 3:28 PMAn-chanTHANK YOU! Actually, you sent the mail exactly an hour before the time I was actually born eighteen years ago. Pretty cool, huh? Huh?
Also, I'm happy to inform you that your wish came true! It was indeed a very fine birthday, I got Sims 2 Free Time and most notably Final Fantasy IV for DS which I'd been wanting for quite some time already. Turns out that it really was worth all the wanting. I love the game. So much, actually, that I haven't even installed Free Time yet... But that's also because I have to study to a stupid, huge test.
Anyway. THANKS!!!!1!
Also, I've watched some episodes of Chi's Sweet Home and the adorableness has killed me several times already. it strongly reminds me of when my cat was a kitten, which was not that long ago. Why do they have to grow up? :< The theme song also plays in my head quite often nowadays... -
March 7th, 2009 12:49 AMAstinusIt's currently your birthday in my time zone. So I wish ye a happy happy birthday.
... =D
HAPPY BIRTHDAY

February 25th, 2009 1:57 PMAn-chanI dearly thank you for those links. Never mind that they consume all of my time nowadays =D I've laughed out loud quite a few times by now, and my family and fiancée have begun to think that I'm going nuts ^-^ So, yeah, thanks.
Also, I don't think you're a scary scary person... I think one "scary" is enough! ;P -
February 22nd, 2009 5:00 AMAstinus...o.o I'm a scary scary person?
For commentary legacies:
The Dorks by katu_sims.
The Spencers and The Leemans by rainbowflyer
The Zyzzyvas by forever_sims
The Lutzens by Simfinite
And for the stories:
The Brokes by Simgaroop
Strangetown, Here We Come by strange_tomato
Those are my favorites out of all the ones that I read so far. I haven't read a few of the other popular ones yet, but I'm going to, and I'll let you know how those are. -
February 22nd, 2009 4:44 AMAn-chanThe funny comments below each picture.
Actually, I'd like to see what the story type looks like and if I like it. But I'm absolutely sure I like the commentary way legacies, because that's just plain amusing. I like funny stuff. Have I ever said I like funny stuff?
But yeah, anything's fine by me. I haven't seen any story type legacies, so it wouldn't hurt to look at them. I think.
Before I link you to things, clear one thing up for me
...How come you make it sound so scary? ;_; -
February 21st, 2009 9:39 PMAstinusBefore I link you to things, clear one thing up for me:
There are two different ways to tell Sim legacies. One way is the story way, in which it's told exactly as it sounds. There's a plot, dialog, yada yada yada. It's like an actual fanfiction. The other way is the commentary way, in which there's just funny comments underneath each picture.
So...which way do you want to see more of? -
February 21st, 2009 4:57 PMAn-chanHi there. Seeing as you're practically the only link I have to any kind of Sims fandom, I'm going to have to turn to you. I've rummaged trough the sims communities you follow. Yeah, I know, I'm a horrible spy and I should be hanged, but that's a great way to find good ones. So, anyway, I was wondering if you know of any good places with sims fics, stories with photos or any legacy communities or things like that?
I've been playing a lot again lately, so I'm also getting much more interested than I was. Also, never before did the idea of non-official online sims communities even cross my mind. I'm a bit stupid, but that's another story.
And now I don't know whether I want Sims 3 or not when it comes out...
