September 29th, 2008 1:55 PMAn-chanAww man, that sucks :( I had to send my laptop to be repaired a couple of months ago and man, was it agony. I hope you get your laptop soon! (I guess you won't be reading this before that, eh?)

September 26th, 2008 12:07 PMAn-chanI once ordered a CD that came like two days after I had ordered it. It was almost spooky, but it made me believe in mankind again. Man, was I suprised when it came so soon!
But then, when I ordered my Pokémon Diamond and assumed it wouldn't take too long, like maybe about 3 or 4 days... But no, that time it had to take over a week for it to arrive...
And the most annoying part was that it arrived on Friday. No biggie, but the "you have a pakage"-note that I needed to claim it came on Monday. It was utterly frustrating to know my game was being kept in the darn post office over the weekend! -
September 26th, 2008 10:22 AMEmiiI wish it did.. but it takes FOREVER. xD or it seems like forever, anyway. I have ordered some things from China before, and it seems like it takes way longer than it should, you know?
-
September 26th, 2008 8:49 AMAn-chanAll right, I'll let you know! Now I just have to wait for my games to arrive... It's too bad the postal service is so slow -_- Why can't it take a single day to cross the Atlantic? Why? :(

September 26th, 2008 6:58 AMEmiiCrazy people with guns.. they fight over really stupid things.. and you're right, the tabloids and other people are really no help.. gah.
The only one I have out of what you got was the Phoenix Wright one. my sister played Justice for All, and now I'm trying to beat it. =D I hope you have fun with it too! Oh, and let me know if Final Fantasy III is good, I was thinking about getting that eventually. ^_^ -
September 26th, 2008 4:30 AMAn-chanOh, really? That's really something, because this tuesday a boy shot 10 people and himself in a school here in Finland... It was really awful, everybody here was really upset and all the news are full of it now and I really don't want to know every minor little detail about the incident. And I hate it how tabloids try to take advantage of real people being really upset and sad. *sigh* But what can we do about insane people if they don't want to get help? Shooting people is not exactly what I'd call 'help'...
But, back to happier subjects, I bought Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords, Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney: Justice for All (it was the only Ace Attorney that shop had, so I decided to go with it), Final Fantasy III and a chess game for my boyfriend. They're all expensive games normally so I'm happy with this ^-^ -
September 25th, 2008 7:32 PMEmiifour? O_O wow, I wish I could do that! that would cost me about.. I dunno, but more than that! XD what games did you order?
omg, big day. >_< at my little sister's school, there was a huge riot today. they had a pep assembly, which is a big fun assembly to celebrate sports (omg, who cares about stupid high school sports.. >_<) and today during that, a fight broke out. then another. and another. there were about 13 in the room, I Guess.. the whole school was in a gym, so yeah.. and someone had a gun, so the school got locked down.. then there were about 5-10 more fights at the 2 lunches, and people had knives there.. yeah.
I'm really glad I graduated from there so I didn't have to be there ^_^;; -
September 25th, 2008 1:24 AMAn-chanIt's the same for me even though I've studied Japanese =D if I begin to think a sentence, I know all the words (except the verb sometimes) but I get hazy when it comes to prepositions and stuff ^-^' But, I'll learn, I'll learn...
By the way, I just ordered four DS games from Amazon.com for 100 dollars. In euros, that's about 70 €... And if I had bought two of those games here in Finland, they would have cost about 120 €. DS games are insanely expensive here! And the other two aren't even sold here. Thank god there's the almighty internet! =D -
September 24th, 2008 1:48 PMEmiiWow, I can't even begin to pronounce your last name XD mine is easy. Maxwell. wow. ^_^;
I watch alot of subbed anime too, and now that I think about it.. I know some Japanese words, and have no problems pronouncing them, but I don't know how to put sentences together.. I only know simple things, like words. My username ^_^ -
September 24th, 2008 10:34 AMAn-chanIt's no wonder you've never heard Finnish before ^-^ I could write you some, but well, it wouldn't give the right picture anyway. Just as a fun example, my family name is Perheentupa =D And none of my English-speaking friends has ever pronounced it right! But, well, can't blame them. Even I think English is a lot easier language than Finnish.
And it wasn't really my choice to study English and Swedish, because those two are practically obligatory (wasn't that the word?) and if you want to study an extra language, it's most often French or German. In my school, German wasn't an option, so French it was. Man, I hated studying it, but luckily I don't have to anymore! And Japanese I've studied for fun ^-^ I watch so much subbed anime it would be a miracle if I didn't know at least some Japanese by now! =D -
September 24th, 2008 10:00 AMEmiiI don't think I've ever heard Finnish being spoken before, so I have no idea what it sounds like. ^_^; and I'm sure if you spoke English, it wouldn't be hat bad. You probably have a heavy accent, but I'm used to that by now. When Korean and Japanese people come to my school and I can understand them..
I bet it's really hard though, huh? I wish I had tried learning other languages when I was young. Maybe then I'd speak more than just English -_- you're really amazing, knowing 3 or 4 languages =D -
September 24th, 2008 8:37 AMAn-chanActually, I know a bit more languages =3 Because nobody ever understands Finnish anywhere else in the world than Finland, we tend to study many languages ^-^ So, I can speak Finnish, English, Swedish and some French and Japanese. We have to study at least two languages at school, but most study at least three, maybe even 4... It's too bad Finnish in not useful when you travel :( But well, we are a small nation ^-^
And, well, I might write English well, and I could speak it, too, but the way words are pronounced in English is so different from my native Finnish that I make lots of mistakes ^-^'' -
September 24th, 2008 6:49 AMEmiiwow, you're not a native English speaker? well, you use English really well for not being one. As far as I can tell by typing, anyway. =D I guess another advantage I have would be that I'm really good at English. At least compared to the other people around where I live.. they have horrible grammar >_< it bugs me so much.. and they've spoken English their whole lives, so I don't really know why they talk like that.. but oh well. xD;
I really hope I can learn Japanese.. if you know it, then you know 3 languages, right? I tried learning Spanish before.. I sorta did.. but I just wasn't good at learning it.. so I hope I can learn Japanese better than Spanish! ^_^ -
September 24th, 2008 4:40 AMAn-chanI can't wait to get there either! You have the advanteage of being a native English speaker. I don't think anyone in Japan would hire me as an English teacher, because I haven't spoken it my whole life and, well, many people have. I'd liko to work in a video game company, though, it would be awesome to work as a character designer or a writer for, say, Nintendo. I just don't know if I'm good enough for that either ^-^''
It's funny how Japanese is relatively easy to speak and understand, but very, very hard to read and write. Some study I once saw said that the three most difficult languages to learn in this world are Mandarin Chinese, Japanese and Finnish. Since I already know Finnish, the other ones could be a piece of cake =D But, well, they're not. You need time and hard work to learn Japanese.
