See I didn't think it was that inflammatory (and I guess I just see it differently since I run the debate section on sppf and I'd let that sort of post slide through) but it's all cool then :) Thanks.
I didn't like how you were calling her out so personally. I wasn't the only one. So far I've only deleted posts that get complaints, but the posts I do delete I've already made a mental note of beforehand, if that makes any sense. In any case you could've called into the question the validity of her point without being so inflammatory. I don't recall any other of your recent posts in D&D being so.
You deleted my post in the PE thread. I'm just wondering why? I figured it was just as tame (or rather harsh in this situation since I am really critical in the discussion board) as all my other posts so I'm just curious as to what pushed that one over the edge in comparison to some of the rest of them.
Everybody can gain from discussion with different viewpoints - I just don't particularly want to on this subject. I know how debate and discourse works, I just have better things to do with my time.
Hmm. I respect where you're coming from, but I wouldn't be so quick to judge - I think you've been preemptive in that respect. The only thing I can say is that we can stand to gain from discussion with people with mortally different viewpoints. Especially when you'll find that those viewpoints might not be so mortally different after all.
Not particularly for myself although I have a friend who's Chinese and lost his great-grandmother. I'm just not interested in reading anything that glorifies his regime which tortured people to death.
