    WHAT... YOU HAVE FLAVOURS!?!?

i have the Singaporean version one I guess, its glutiness rice, with pork, chestnuts, mushrooms, wrapped with bamboo leaves.

They have a saying here, hot zongzi are not nice, its best ate cold (not really cold, but not warm) and wrapped with the bamboo leaves.

However, zongzi's not the common name of that here anyway, in here, we call them bakzhang,

We have another thing here called the keezhang, not sure what its that called in Chinese, but its yellow glutiness rice, wrapped with bamboo leaves, normally eaten with sugar or kaya, which is like coconut jam.

We just picked up some zongzi from the supermarket for some strange reason. BBQ duck, chicken, and Chinese sausage flavours.

Aww, meh, we is immigrants in Canada. My grandparents came over to live for several years, but that was several years ago. Nah, we just got store-bought zongzi instead. We got these interesting Japanese dessert ones, they were pretty cool. We're so lazy now, didn't even go see the dragonboat race :|

    Same to you!

Did you eat any zongzi or rice dumplings? I certainly ate a lot, 'cos my grandmother made quite a lot.

I wasn't/am not a club person, but my roommate in China wanted me out with him so I went to see what's up. I don't like the music, I don't like the smoke, but the cocktails weren't bad. Plus dancing is pretty cool, but I only ever get to do it in my house because I'm a loner like that :P And we got to learn what clubbing is like in China, which is interesting because I don't know what clubbing is like in Canada. But it's got to be crazy in Singapore with all the expats.

There's not a lot of homework in university, just lots of reading and studying to do :P
