Sure thing. Well, you are supposed to blur some areas of your tag and in order to make it look as if that specific part of your tag is situated at a specific distance from the 'focal' of your tag (behind it). The more you blur, the more it seems like it is situated at a greater distance from the focal point in the background. So basically, an ideal tag consists of a sharp focal with some sharp foreground effects and some blurred background effects. If it doesn't have these, it is considered flat. 'Flat' as in..not having depth. And depth is created by blurring and sharpening parts of one's tag. Plus, I've heard some people say that 'flow' creates depth too. Idk about that but I do try to make tags which have flow. lolz
Not really a very good example but this is what I got when I searched through my collection earliest. You can see there are some blurred and sharpened areas in this tag. That creates depth. And the focal, Aamir Khan, is visibly sharp compared to the background, yeah?
And that's alright, Tara. C4ds aren't easy to work with. You'll have problems in the beginning but you ought to keep at it. I'm sure you'll get a hang of 'em pretty soon!
