Heh, well, my machine is mostly for gaming, so Dell isn't the best choice for me (unless I get an Alienware or an XPS). But I guess it's pretty good for everything else. I do like opening it up and seeing everything all perfectly arranged and fitting though. Although the nice nest they have for the power supply is going to be a pain if I ever need to upgrade it.
I build all my own machines nowadays; but I always recommend Dell or IBM for PC's and Notebooks respectively due to good build quality and well-matched components, when it comes to other people :)
So there is a plus side to having a Dell! I'll admit though, I'd much rather build my own computer. This thing cost $1200, and I could have built something better with that money. Good thing my parents paid for this. :\
But yeah, sorry if I'm rambling and seem like I have no idea what I'm talking about. It's like 2 AM here and I'm on a sugar high right now. XD
Probably because it's a Dell and they know a little about "matched hardware"; having equitable CPU/RAM/GPU/HDD performance will do wonders for your performance :)
