June 23rd, 2010 6:23 PMTeam_SJKI have a lot of consoles from different generations, but to keep things short, the most frequently used systems are: a black PS2 Slim, a silver GameCube, and a red/black DS Lite. If you want, I can share my other consoles with you later.

June 23rd, 2010 6:11 PMEucliffeI have a DS Lite, and a PSP for handhelds, and a Wii for console.

June 23rd, 2010 6:07 PMTeam_SJKVBA, huh? I'll have to check that out sometime.
Yeah, Boycott Advance is an okay emulator, but it does have quite a few drawbacks. Like I said, you have to install Emulator Enhancer to use game pads with it, and it's not that cheap. Plus, a lot of the ROMs I have don't even work that well with it. I can't even run Game Boy Color ROMs with Boycott Advance.
What other consoles/handhelds do you own? -
June 23rd, 2010 5:42 PMEucliffeVBA. I use it for my Mac and Windows.
I love classic gaming. I still want a GBA just so I can play my GBC games (I still have an SP, but it has a half screen). -
June 23rd, 2010 5:40 PMTeam_SJKWhat GBA emulator do you use? I used one called Boycott Advance, and was not pleased with it. I can't use my game pad without installing additional software.
Yeah, setting up an emulator 68k Mac takes a lot of time and effort, and I prefer to use emulators that don't require either. That said, I have a wide variety of emulators: NES, Super NES, Sega Genesis, PlayStation, and Nintendo 64. You could say that I'm a... classic gamer. -
June 23rd, 2010 5:16 PMEucliffeI have a GBA emulator, not to mention a couple of Visual Novels, so those keep me busy if I have no internet XD
I may also use Gimp for graphics stuff when I have no internet either. -
June 23rd, 2010 5:13 PMTeam_SJKI'm not really worried about it. I can't stand wasting time to get a 68k emulator set up. Besides, Halo, Max Payne, Jedi Academy, and Oni (on my Boot Camp drive) will keep me busy for awhile. :)
-
June 23rd, 2010 4:01 PMEucliffeI'd try and get an emulator for that, if anything XD
Yeah, one major drawback about having a Mac is the lack of games you can play on it, but at least it still has some decent games you can play. -
June 23rd, 2010 3:37 PMTeam_SJKSweet. And I thought I had a great deal on mine. Nothing beats a free computer, especially from school.
Speaking of free computers, this catholic school where I live was getting rid of some old Macs after switching to Windows 98 about 11 years ago. My brother scored an LC 575, and I got an old Classic II. The computers were loaded with some great games, and it's a shame my Intel Mac can't play them anymore. -
June 23rd, 2010 3:23 PMEucliffeI didn't pay a thing, since it was included in the tuition XD But I did get it when school started last year.

June 23rd, 2010 7:09 AMTeam_SJKMy MacBook's about three years old, and I actually bought it off of my brother for $250. Yes, you read correctly: I paid just $250 for mine.
Also, that's fine if you don't wish to become friends right away.
Links? What links? I didn't see any. :) -
June 23rd, 2010 6:59 AMEucliffeDon't tell me I gave those links to the wrong person. /referring to earlier VM
Mine is the newest, I think? I dunno, the school I attended gave me mine.
Also, I usually don't accept people as friends until I've gotten to know them enough ^^' -
June 23rd, 2010 6:31 AMTeam_SJKHey, I saw on your "About Me" page that you have a MacBook. That's pretty cool, because I have one as well. How new is yours?
Also, seeing how we are of identical minds when it comes to computing, would you like to become friends with me? You shouldn't have to feel obligated. I'm okay with your decision either way. -

Some stuff is cropped from the first one so that it makes a perfect 130x130, the second one is just resized.
